Sneaking out

*Sneaking Out*

*Alexis' POV*

*Two Weeks Later*

So our parents didn't take it too well when we came home late from the auditions. There was lots of yelling and screaming before my parents punished me for about two months. I was to go to school and come straight home. And after I graduate, I am to stay home until my punishment was over. And from the sound of it, the girls parents gave them the same punishment. You see, we would have been fine with the punishment. But seeing as we leave for the second round of the X Factor tomorrow morning, we had to abort the previous plan of "traveling for the summer". In our last week of school, we tried to come up with different plans to try and get our parents to shorten our punishment, this way we could actually come up with a reasonable excuse as to why we are going to be leaving for a couple of months. But none of them seemed to play out the way that we wanted them to. So the five of us just decided to sneak out of the house while our parents are sleeping. We are all going to meet at the train station at 4:30 tomorrow morning and we'll go from there. I know it's only like two hours away, but we don't want to risk our parents finding out that we are planning on sneaking out.

As for our fathers secret, we haven't told them that we knew. To be honest, we don't really know how we feel about it ourselves just yet. I mean I don't understand how they hate music so much, yet they were famous themselves.

"Alexis, dinner's ready!" My mother called from downstairs.

"Coming!" I called back.

Well I better get going. This is going to be my last dinner with them for awhile.

*Bailey's POV*

*The Next Morning*

So it's 4:30 in the morning and I am currently waiting for the others to arrive. I'm kind of worried. They were supposed to be here by now. You see, we all snuck out of our house, given the certain circumstances. I'm worried that they all got caught and got into even more trouble.

I continued to worry about the worst that could have happened to them until I saw all four of them running in my direction from four different directions.

"Sorry I'm late!" They all said in unison once they approached me.

"What took you guys so long? I thought you guys got caught." I said in a concerned tone.

"You know, sneaking out isn't as easy as you think with a large suitcase." Julie said while trying to catch her breath.

"Plus, it took me longer to get out of the house. My dad was downstairs watching TV. I don't even know what he was doing up that late. But he finally went to bed at 4:15." Brittany explained.

"Well, good thing you guys didn't get caught. Now let's get on this train shall we. We're already running late. And we don't want our fathers to wake up and find us not there. At least not yet anyway." I said.

And soon enough we were entering the train that would take us to where ever the second round is.

*Two Hours Later*

After a long, two hour train ride, we are finally where we are supposed to be. As we walked around the train station, I found a pretty muscular man, in a suit, holding up a sign that read 'The Next Direction'.

"Is he here for us?" I asked pointing to the main with the sign.

"I think so." Lexi said, just as confused as I was.

We quickly approached the man with the sign. And as soon as he saw us approach him, he gave us a questioning look.

"Are you the band, 'The Next Direction'?" He asked simply.

"Depends."  Brittany stated unsurely.

"Are you girls competing in the X Factor?" He asked.

"Yeah?" We said unsurely.

"Okay. Good. Simon sent me to pick you girls up. He's waiting for you girls in the lobby of the hotel you will be staying at." The guy explained before he started walking off.

We hesitated for a second, but quickly followed him to the car. He helped us put our bags in the trunk before we all climbed into the car and drove off to the hotel. Within minutes we were at the hotel.

"Don't worry about your bags. I'll take care of them.Simon is waiting for you." The guy said before we got out of the car.

"Thank you, Mr.?" Julie said, dragging out the last word, given that we didn't catch his name.

"Please, you can just call me Paul." Paul said with a smile.

"Okay. Well, thank you Paul." Katey said, sharing a smile.

"Well, you girls should get in there. Simon doesn't like to be kept waiting too long." Paul told us.

We just nodded before we exited the car. Once we entered the lobby of the hotel, we immediately spotted Simon in the center of the lobby.

"Girls! I'm glad you made it." Simon said happily as we approached him.

"Yeah, I'm glad we did too." I mumbled, causing Simon to give me a questioning look.

"Long story short, we all basically had to sneak out of our houses in order to make it to the second round." Lexi explained.

"I thought you guys were telling your parents that you were going on some trip or something?" Simon asked in confusion.

"Yeah, well, that was a great lan until we got punished for like two months for missing curfew." Brittany explained.

Simon opened his mouth to say something, but was quickly interrupted by Julie.

"Anyway, you wanted to see us?" Julie asked.

"Ah, yes, I did. I wanted to tell you girls that you all have been cleared to finish out the remainder of the competition as a group." Simon explained.

"No wonder that Paul guy had a sign that said 'The Next Direction' on it." Katey said with a sudden realization that caused Simon to laugh a bit.

"Anyway, the next round should be starting tomorrow morning. So you girls have the day to yourselves to relax. I'll be staying at the same hotel, so if you need me, just have someone at the desk to call and leave a message." Simon explained as we just nodded before we walked off.

"So what do we do now?" I asked the girls.

"We prepare ourselves for the next round." Lexi said simply.

And with that, we all agreed. We checked in and made our way upstairs to bring our bags to our rooms before we all met in Katey and Julie's room. We then spent the entire day going over our game plan for the next round and how we were going to make it to the next round.

I'm sorry this isn't the greatest chapter.

Hopefully the chapters will get better.

Anyway, I'm hopefully going to write in the boys point of view soon. Maybe within the next few chapters or so. So keep an eye out for that.
