*Brittany's POV*

Tonight's the night. Tonight is the night we find out whether or not we made it the finale or if we're going home. I know the five of us said this a lot since we've been on the show, but I really hope we make it through to the next round. If we have to go home tonight, that means we are one week closer to getting grounded for the rest of our lives. I really don't want to get grounded for the rest of my life. I have goals that I want to fulfill, such as a career in music.

"Guys, Simon wants to talk to us." Lexi said as she came into the dressing room.

"Okay. Where does he want to meet us?" I asked.

"He's going to come by in a couple of minutes, but he just wanted me to give you girls a heads up that he wanted to talk to us." Lexi replied and I just nodded in response.

A couple minutes later there was a knock at the closed dressing room door.

"Come in!" We all yelled in unison.

"Hello girls! How are you all doing?" Simon said cheerfully as we walked into the dressing room.

"Well, I think I can speak for all of us when I say we are all beyond nervous." Bailey stated.

"Well don't be. I'm confident that you girls will make it through." Simon replied with a smile.

"So, what did you need to talk to us about?" Julie asked after a few seconds of silence.

Suddenly Simons smile dropped and his cheerful expression suddenly went serious in a matter of seconds.

"Well, it's nothing too serious." Simon said before pausing.

"Simon, what's going on?" Katey asked nervously.

"Well, I may or may not got word that your parents are in the audience tonight." Simon said quickly, getting right to the point.

"WHAT?!" We all shouted in unison.

"Who invited them?" Lexi asked, anger and annoyance clear in her voice.

"No one. They just came on their own." Simon said in defense.

"What do you mean they came on their own? Our fathers hate anything to do with music, especially the X Factor." I stated.

"I don't know. But Paul apparently got word from one of the crew members that works up front that they saw each of your parents come in. But don't worry, the crew member said that they all came in at different times, so they don't know that the other bandmate is here." Simon explained.

"But if they are here tonight, then were they here last night, since last night was the actual performance?" Bailey asked.

"I have no idea. But if I had any guess, I would say that they were definitely there last night." Simon replied.

"So, does that mean we're not doing the surprise if we make it through to the finale?" Brittany asked.

"Oh no, we are definitely doing the surprise. They still don't know that One Direction is about to reunited." Simon replied confidently.

"But what if we make it through and they stay the week and they end up running into each other and finding out that we, the daughters of One Direction, were put into a band together on the X Factor?" Julie asked.

"Don't worry. If you girls make it through to the finale and they stay the week, I will make sure that they all stay separated until the finale." Simon assured us.
