*Finale Result Show Part 1*

*Julie's POV*

There are only a few more minutes until the show starts and Katey hasn't stopped pacing for the last hour and a half. At first it was fine, because we were all nervous. But now it's just annoying.

"Katey, could you stop pacing. You have been doing that for an hour and a half. You're making me dizzy." I finally said in annoyance.

"Well I'm sorry if I'm nervous." Katey snapped, stopping where she was to reply.

"We're all nervous, but you don't see us pacing around the room." I shot back.

Katey opened her mouth to speak, but was quickly interrupted by Lexi.

"Can we not argue? I get that we're all nervous to face our fathers after the show, but we can't let our nerves take over." Lexi stated.

"She's right. For right now, we just need to focus on staying calm until we get the results. Then once the results are given, we can worry about how long our fathers are going to punish us." Brittany added.

"Fine." Katey and I mumbled in unison.

Bailey opened her mouth to say something when a crew member came into the dressing room.

"Girls, Simon wants you girls out in the front row to watch the guest performers." The crew member told us.

"Why can't we just watch them on the TV in the lounge like we do every week?" Bailey asked in confusion.

"I don't know. Simon just wanted me to tell you girls that you need to go sit in the front row. And I would go now because the guest performer is up at the beginning of the show, which should be starting any minute now. So I would hurry up." The crew member explained before leaving the room.

Still confused, the girls and I did as we were told and went to the seats in the front row that were reserved for us. Just as we got to our seats, the show finally came back from commercial.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a very special treat for you tonight. This guest performer was very famous back in the day. And they are here to perform one of their songs for one not only. And they are actually the fathers of one of our contestants here tonight. Ladies and gentlemen please help me in welcoming to the stage, On Direction singing 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go'!" The host said to the crowd.

"WHAT?!" The girls and I yelled in unison.

I'm pretty sure the judges heard us from where we were sitting, because I swear all three of them were laughing.

*Liam's POV*

*Before the Result Show*

"Are you sure they're not going to see us?" I asked nervously for the thousandth time.

"Liam, in a dressing room on the other side of the stage. I'm sure they're not going to see you." Simon assured me.

Right now the boys, Simon and I are waiting backstage. The boys and I got moved from the dressing room to the stage so there wouldn't be any chance of the girls seeing us. Though we got here much earlier than they did, if that is even possible.

"Forget the girls seeing us, is anyone else nervous about performing? I mean, we haven't performed in front of an audience in years." Niall asked nervously.

The rest of us agreed, seeing as we all hadn't done much singing in years.

"Don't worry. You guys will do great." Simon assured us with a smile.

"Thanks." Louis replied.

"Simon, the show will be starting any minute now. I need you to take your place at the judges table." The crew member told him and he just nodded in agreement.

Simon then turned to us and smiled.

"Alright guys, good luck. And by the way, the girls will be watching your performance from the front row." Simon said quickly before walking away.

"Well, that doesn't calm me down in the slightest." Zayn said to no one in particular.

"You're telling me." Harry said before we heard the host start to talk.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a very special treat for you tonight. This guest performer was very famous back in the day. And they are here to perform one of their songs for one not only. And they are actually the fathers of one of our contestants here tonight. Ladies and gentlemen please help me in welcoming to the stage, On Direction singing 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go'!" The host said to the crowd.

In the split second of silence between the host introducing us and the crowd cheering, I swear I could hear a group of girls scream in disbelief, but that could just be me.

*Brittany's POV*

Soon our fathers were out on stage, taking their positions as the music started playing. And soon, they started singing as the crowd sang along. Oh yeah, I forgot they were One Direction fans.

"[Niall]

Counted all my mistakes and there's only one
Standing out from the list of the things I've done
All the rest of my crimes don't come close

So I built you a house from a broken home
And I wrote you a song with the words you spoke

Yeah, it took me some time, but I figured out

As the girls and I sat there confused, we watched as pictures and videos of our fathers playing on the screen behind them. I noticed that these images and videos began at the X Factor where One Direction was formed and the pictures and videos were slowly making their way up until the present day. I hope there is pictures of me in this.

As the song continued on, the pictures and videos were becoming more recent and slowly it became pictures of them individually. Pictures of them with our mothers. And eventually pictures with us. Us girls just continued to sit there confused throughout the whole song. When did they have time to plan this? Didn't they not want anything to do with music or the music industry, especially the X Factor? Aren't they the least bit mad at us for going behind their backs and auditioning for the one show they did not like and wanted nothing to do with? Ugh! I have so many questions that need answers.
