*Finale Performance Part 1*

*Louis' POV*

*One Week Later*

So we ended up not getting the chance to see our daughter at all this entire week. Due to the fact that X Factor had rented out an entire hotel for the contestants and the crew and judges, we were unable to book a room in the same exact hotel as Alexis. Though we tried going to visit her at her hotel, but we were unable to get through the front door. There is security stationed outside the front entrance monitoring who goes in and who goes out. To be quite honest, I think it is quite unfair that they wouldn't let us go see our daughter. But whatever. I'm past it. Anyway, my wife and I are currently at the venue waiting for the show to start. If I am going to be honest, the audience looks a lot older than last weeks. And it looks like it is mostly females. So I definitely stand out. Oh well.

*Katey's POV*

Tonight's the night. Tonight is the night that we have been waiting for all season. We are finally giving our fathers the surprise that we have been wanting to give them ever since we found out that they were in the biggest boy band in the world. I am honestly a little nervous for tonight but I am also very excited. I cannot wait to get out on stage.

"Anyone else both nervous and excited?" Bailey asked.

"Yup." The rest of us replied, popping the 'p'.

"Do you think our fathers will be mad when they find out what song we will be doing tonight?" Brittany asked curiously.

"Honestly, I think they are already mad." I said.

"But if they were really that mad, don't you think they would have found a way to find us and drag us out kicking and screaming?" Lexi asked.

"Probably. But Simon has had security making sure that they don't exactly that." I stated.

"But it doesn't make me any less nervous that they'll find a way to drag us out of here before we even get the results tomorrow." Julie said.

Bailey opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off by Simon abruptly opening the door to the dressing room.

"Girls! Tonight's the night!" Simon said excitedly with a huge smile on his face.

"I'm glad someone's 100% excited about tonight." Bailey stated.

"What? You girls aren't excited?" Simon asked in confusion.

"No! Of course we're excited, but we're also nervous. We're scared that our parents will find a way to find us and drag us out of here, even with the amount of security you hired." Brittany stated.

"Don't worry. I won't let that happen. Just worry about your performance tonight and the results tomorrow. I'll take care anything that has to do with your parents." Simon explained and we just nodded.

"Girls, you're on in two minutes." The crew member said from the door of the dressing room.

"Well, I guess that's my cue to head back to the judges table. I'll see you out there. Good luck." Simon said before leaving.

"Well, here goes nothing." I said before we walked toward the stage.

Within seconds of us arriving at the stage the hose was already announcing us.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage, The Next Direction!" He yelled to the audience as the cheered loudly.

"Well, it's now or never." Lexi said before we went running out on stage.

"How's everyone doin tonight!" Julie yelled to the crowd as they cheered louder.

"I'm glad you're all doing amazing!" Bailey said with a wide smile.

"Okay, so, before we start our song for the night, we have a little message for some people in the crowd tonight." Brittany stated.

Yeah, we decided that we were goin to say a little something before we started the song. Yeah, we're actually filled with nerves. And yeah, we hope that our fathers don't come up on stage and drag us off in the middle of our performance. Cross your fingers all goes well.

"So, we recently found out a secret that some people very close to us have kept from us for almost 18 years. And we very surprised by this considering they had very strong opinions about the music industry and anything that had to do with it, especially the X Factor." I explained.

"When we found out abut this secret, we knew we had to do something very special to let them know them that we know who they were and what they did for so many people around the world." Lexi added.

"Now, you may be wondering who we are talking about. Though, you may already know, considering you have been the loudest audience since we've started the show. And you were especially loud when the five of us came out." Julie explained.

"But for those of you who don't know who we are talking about, we are talking about are fathers." Bailey said to the crowd.

"Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. Otherwise known as One Direction. The biggest boy band in the world" Brittany added.

"Our fathers are actually in the crowd tonight and they have been since last week. So if you are sitting next to any one of them, consider yourself lucky." I told the crowd with a smile.

"You see, we did not know they were going to be here last week, since we did not tell them that we were auditioning for the X Factor considering that they do not like anything to do with music and the music industry, especially the X Factor." Lexi explained.

"We were going to try and lure them to the X Factor live shows for the finale, if we made it, to surprise them with our voices and the fact that we know that they were in a band years ago. But they kind of ruined part of the surprise. But it's fine, they had no idea about the One Direction part." Julie added.

"Anyway, we should probably continue on with the song." Bailey told the crowd and the crowd cheered loudly.

"But before we do that we have one more little surprise to tell our fathers." Brittany said with excitement.

"Dad and the rest of my fathers bandmates, we just wanted to let you know that tonight is a very special night. Not only do we know that you were in a band named One Direction many years ago, but we filled the audience with One Direction fans from not only around the country, but around the world. We love you and this one is for you." I told our fathers as the crowd cheered loudly as the music started playing around the arena. And at that moment, even with a quick glance at the front row, I knew my father was sobbing.

And sorry I didn't put all of the boys POV in this chapter, especially when the girls were talking when they got out on stage.

I am planning on putting the boys POV's in the next chapter.
