*Lexi's POV*

The girls and I have been pacing back and forth backstage for the past hour. Tonight is that last live show before the finale and we are all super nervous. We are feeling the pressure because we have gotten amazing feedback in past live shows and we want to continue with the amazing feedback and make it to the finale. Not to mention we are feeling the pressure because if we do make it to the finale, we are going to be surprising our fathers at the live show and the result show. So I guess you can say we are a bit stressed and nervous right now. I am really hoping that we do well tonight.

"The Next Direction! You're next! Make your way to the stage!" The crew member yelled.

"Well girls, this is it." I told them.

"We are going to do amazing. I know it." Julie said, trying to stay positive, as we slowly made our way to the stage. And just as we reached the stage, the host was announcing us.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for our next contestants, The Next Direction, singing 'I Knew You Were Trouble' by Taylor Swift!" The host announced.

The five of us immediately grabbed our mics before running out o stage with the crowd cheering loudly.

"[Lexi]

Once upon a time, a few mistakes ago

I guess you didn't care, and I guess I liked that
And when I fell hard you took a step back

As we continued to sing, the crowd continued to cheer like crazy. By the smiles on the judges faces, they were enjoying the performance too. Are we really that good? I guess we were because as soon as the song was finished the crowd was on their feet cheering along with the judges.

"Girls, you were incredible as always. I love watching you girls perform every week. I can see big things happening in the future." Sam said as he gave us a wide smile.

"Like Sam said, you were absolutely incredible. I can promise you that you girls will be here for the finale. I haven't seen a group gain such a big fan base in such a short amount of time in a very long time. I can promise you that this show is not the end for the five of you." Ed said with a wide smile.

"Girls, that was incredible. I absolutely loved it. Like Ed said, you are guaranteed a spot in the finale. Everywhere I go people are talking about you girls. I am amazed at the fan base you have gained since you began this show. I can promise you that this show will not be the end for you girls. You have a bright future ahead of you." Simon told us, grinning from ear to ear.

"Thank you so much!" We said in unison, grinning from ear to ear.

The host, then, came out and talked to us for a moment before the five of us made our way backstage.

"Let's hope Ed and Simon are right." Bailey said suddenly as we walked off to our dressing room.

"About what?" Brittany asked in confusion.

"About this show not being the end for us. Let's hope we can continue singing as a career for years after ending this show." Bailey explained.

"I have no worries. With the way the judges have been praising us every week, a career in singing and songwriting is bound to happen for us." Katey stated.

"Let's hope so." I mumbled.

For the rest of the show we continued sitting in our dressing room, chatting away. Eventually it was time for us to go back to our hotel, which we were really happy about. Once we entered our hotel rooms we immediately showered and changed before passing out in our beds. We have to be up early in the morning to get ready for tomorrow's result show. Hopefully we make it through to the finale.

Sorry that the live show and the live result show chapters have been on the shorter side.

I really don't know what to write except for the part where they perform and get their results.

After the live result show #3 chapter, which should be the next chapter, I plan on writing a chapter in the boys POV.
