*Meet Julie Payne*
Hi, my name is Julie Payne, but you probably already knew that. I'm 17 years old and I am a senior at a high school in London. But you probably already knew that too. Anyway, you probably already know that Katey Horan, Alexis Tomlinson, Bailey Malik, and Brittany Styles and that we share anything and everything with each other. Other than the fact that I want to become a singer/songwriter after high school. Not that I told anyone. It's a little embarrassing. I don't know if I can actually sing. The only person that's heard me sing is myself. Plus, dad is totally against anything and everything to do with music. He doesn't let me listen to music or watch those singing competitions on TV. Not that I follow those rules anyway. Very grateful that mom bought me headphones and lets me watch the X Factor whenever dad is at work.
Speaking of the X Factor. Guess who's auditioning tomorrow? Yeah, I know what you're thinking. How can you be auditioning for the X Factor if you're too embarrassed to tell anyone else about your love for singing. Well, I'm trying to get over that. Plus, no one knows I'm auditioning for the show tomorrow. Mom thinks I'm going over to Lexi's. And the girls think I'm going to be home all day doing homework. So I'm going to be taking a taxi to the venue tomorrow to go audition. I'm kind of hoping all goes well.
"JULIE! WE HAVE TO GET GOING IF YOU WANT TO GET TO SCHOOL ON TIME!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs.
"COMING!" I yelled back.
Well, I better get going. Wish me luck.
