Malachi Jones

Walking into my house, I threw my keys down on the counter and sat down at my table.

I had just got home and I know Giselle here, her BMW sitting outside.

I sighed and ran my hands down my face and got up going into my bedroom. I seen her sitting on the bed, her back facing me.

She heard my footsteps and looked over at me.

"Where have you been?"

Her voice was soft and shaky.

"I was at my momma house." I lied straight through my teeth.

She shook her head and laughed.

"I called your mom Mug, you weren't at her house."

Fuck my life. Here we go.

She got off of the bed and walked over to me and stood right in front of me.

"So I'll ask you again, where were you? You weren't with Bones because he came over here. So you must've been with Pea."

I rolled my eyes.

"Man, What are you trying to ask me, Giselle? Spit the shit out."

She squinted her eyes and looked at me.

"Did you sleep with her!" She shouted.

"No." I lied flat out. "You know Pea don't get done like that."

She laughed loudly.

"Mal, are you that fucking stupid? Anybody can see that she's not fucking gay!" She yelled.

"Aye, Stop fucking yelling in my house. You don't pay bills in this bitch, I do!" I shouted back to her.

"But what you not gon' do is stand here and accuse me of fucking up, when you fucked up entirely!" I told her.

She threw her hands up. "Malachi, that was six years ago! How many times do I have to apologize for it?"

"Nigga, you shouldn't have done it to begin with! That was my child!"

She shook her head. "You haven't changed at all."

"What? Don't start this shit Giselle." I shook my head and went to pull off my hoodie.

She watched me as I walked into the bathroom and then followed behind me.

"You didn't sleep with her, but you've got hickies and scratches all on your fucking skin? You think I'm dumb, huh?"

I whipped around. "Yea, I do."

She smacked me.

"I know I was wrong for what I did, but two wrongs don't make a right." She said before walking away from me.
