"Aw, thank you. You didn't have to do that." I smiled at Angel.
He came into work today with a bouquet of flowers, fresh red roses. I loved roses.
They were my moms favorite when I was younger.
"Well you leave tomorrow and I'm not going to be here, so I wanted to do something nice for you." He said putting them in a glass vase.
He was so sweet.
When he was done, he came over and sat next to me on my bed.

"Your little girlfriend is going to get mad if she seen you with those flowers." I teased.
He laughed loudly. "She's not my girlfriend, believe me."
One of the nurses, Jasmine has a thing for him. Yesterday when he came to bring me lunch, she was in here checking my stitches and she almost dropped to her knees when she seen him come into the room.
After she left, he told me how she was practically stalking him and how he had asked her multiple times if she would leave him alone, but he got no result.
"They way she was poking my arm yesterday could've had me fooled."
We both laughed.
"I apologize for her though, I don't know what she don't understand."
"She's acting like I'm trynna take her man." I laughed.
He smirked. "Nah, I think she's mad because you got my attention and she don't."
