Malachi Jones

Walking up to my mommas door, I rang the doorbell. I hadn't seen her in a few days and I wanted to make sure she was good.

Her door opened and she peeked her head out.

"Momma, What the hell?"

"What boy?"

I tried to walk in the door but she reached out and pushed me back.

"If I didn't let you come in right away, what does that tell you?" She asked.

I quickly looked back at her driveway seeing nobody parked in it.

"Momma, stop playing."

"Sonja." Someone called out.

Aw hell naw.

"Oh, I see." I held my hands up. "Go ahead momma."

I laughed. She smacked my arm.

"Ow! Why y'all always hitting me?"

"You need your ass whooped, what do you want? I'm busy."

I shook my head. I held up the roses I bought for her.

"Happy Valentine's Day."

She smiled. "Aw thank you baby, I'll see you later."

She quickly closed and locked the door.

"Momma." I whined.

I sighed and went back over to my truck and got inside. Mason was with Pea, Malina was with Giselle's momma, and I didn't want to be home alone.

So I left. I went out and bought Giselle sum' and I bought my momma some roses.

Fuck it, I'll go home.

I pulled into my driveway and got out going into the house.

I tossed my keys on the counter, not even realizing that the lights were off.

"The fuck?"

I walked further into the house, flipping every light on until I opened my bedroom door.

Giselle sat on the bed waiting for me. Rose petals and candles filled the room and the curtains were closed.

"What's all this?" I chuckled.

She smiled and climbed towards the edge of the bed.

I walked over to her and she lightly tugged at my shirt, throwing it over my head.

I bit my bottom lip and pulled her closer to me by her waist.

"You look good." I growled lowly.
