Malachi Jones

"Malina, stop it." I growled at her.

She whined and tried to wiggle out of my arms. "But daddy, I want to go." She whined.

"No," I snapped. "You're going to sit here until we leave, got it?"

She looked at me, her bottom lip quivering. Next thing I know, she was in full blown tears and screams.

"Nice call, genius." Pea mumbled, pulling Mason closer to her.

I stale faced her. People was looking at us, shit.

Giselle looked over at Malina, seeing her throwing a fit.

"Malina Kairi, What is wrong with you?"

I grabbed her, carrying her out of the chapel and carried her crying ass to the car.

I opened my truck and put her inside and pulled off my belt.

"Look lil girl, today is a hard day for your uncle. This temper tantrum you're throwing ain't gon get you nowhere but yo ass against this belt. Do you hear me?"

She kept crying.

"Malina," I sighed. "What is wrong with you?"

She just kept crying. I sighed and put my belt back on. I picked her up and walked her over to the side of the church and put her down on the ground. I squatted down so I was in front of her.

"You mad at daddy?"

She nodded, rubbing her eyes.

Poor baby, she was still crying. I grabbed her, pulling her into me and rubbing her back.

"Stop crying baby, I'm sorry for yelling at you." I told her. "You need to behave, your uncle needs your support."

She nodded. "Okay."

I kissed her forehead. "I love you."

"I love you too, daddy." She held my finger at a distance. "Is Nana Renee going to be mad at me?"

I sighed and ran my hand over my waves.

"No," I told her. "Nana Renee loved you. She gon' whoop yo' ass later, but she's not mad at you."

She sighed. "Okay."

After she calmed down, I carried her back inside and we both sat down. She laid her head on my chest and played with my handkerchief.

"Did everything go, okay?" Giselle asked looking down at Malina and then back up at me.

I nodded. "She good." I told her.

Bones turned around, and reached for Malina. That's what she wanted the whole time.

I smacked my lips. He smacked his back.
