Savanna Thomas

"So you haven't told him?"

I quickly stuffed my pizza in my mouth, avoiding Zena's question.

"Savanna."

I looked up at her through my lashes, my pizza poking my cheek.

"I haven't got the chance." I mumbled, dunking one of my wings in ranch.

"You need to, you're starting to show." She said. "And it's going to go south if you don't tell him soon."

I smacked my thighs, frustrated.

"Zena, okay! I will tell him." I snapped.

She blinked, trying to calm herself down.

"I'm going on the room." She quickly got up.

"Zena, Wait." I tried to stop her but she already closed the door, leaving me in the room by myself.

I sighed and sat back against the couch and stuffed my chicken wing in my mouth.

I knew that she went in the room and there was no use in going in there, she was probably going to go to sleep.

I reached for my phone and decided to call Malachi.

Well, more like FaceTime him.

Soon, his face appeared on the screen.

"Wassup Sav?" He cheesed looking down at the camera.

"Hi." I cheesed back.

Seeing his smile made my day so much better.

"Wassup? Whatchu' doin'?"

I held up my pizza and he laughed.

"Yo ass always eatin'." He said.

I nodded. "What are you doing? You still coming over later?"

He nodded. "Yeah, Ima' Head over in a few minutes, aight? I gotta -"

"Mug, are you staying for dinner?"

I frowned hearing another woman's voice blare through the speaker. He quickly looked back and muted the phone.

"Malachi!" I shouted.

He looked down at the camera and then back to what who he was talking to.

I started to feel my face get hot and my hands started to shake.

"My bad." His voice came back through the speaker.

"Your bad? Who was that?" I snapped.

He scrunched up his face. "Don't worry about it, I'm on my way."
