(Taehyung's POV)

-flashback-

Instead of going for the nature walk like I planned on doing, Jin INSISTED on me coming with him to the mall. He needed help from his 'wing man' to pick out the perfect outfit for the party.

After picking out a nice dress shirt for tonight, we both swayed with bags hanging on our wrists when we stumbled upon a salon on our way to the next store.

"I wonder if they have openings," Jin stops and takes a look at their prices. "I need a fresh cut for tonight. Last time I did my hair myself, I wasn't looking too hot."

"Then get one." I simply state, picking up the book that was sitting on their coffee table. It was a book full of work from the hair stylists and colors to choose from.

Jin hurries to the front desk, looking to make an appointment with a stylist so I kept myself busy.

So many hair colors, so many styles...I was never the type to make a dramatic change. I could never pull some of those colors off.

Jin sits down next to me, his curious eyes wandering over to the book until his name was called to go into get his hair done.

I watch him as he walks up to the counter.

The stylist leans on it for a second while bringing her attention to me. "Are you waiting for an appointment?" She asks me.

I shake my head no. "No, I'm just waiting with my friend there."

"You sure you don't want anything?" She asks me again.

"Yeah, I like my hair the way it is. Thank you though." I smile at her.

"Oh come on, you don't wanna do something? You're getting your hair done for a party, right?" The stylist asks Jin.

"He is," I begin to answer. "But I'm picky with my hair."

The stylist smiles at me, her face looking deviant. "Come on, you should do something to it."

"No, I'm okay."

"You would look insanely good blond." She tries to convince me.

I blush a little to myself. "You think?"

"Yeah, your skin complexion and everything would look well with it. And you're going to a party tonight, don't you want to look good?" She questions me and I'm almost offended at this point.

Am I not good looking or something?

"Yeah but-"

"Come on man, do something to your hair." Jin also chimes in, and I feel pressured.

What if I don't look good with it? What if I end up hating it?

"Really I mean..." I'm stuttering at this point, I don't like peer pressure.

"I'll give you a discount along with a free deep conditioning." She sweetens the deal and seals it with a smile before I sigh, running my fingers through my hair.
