"What do you mean you have almost put one million dollars into Project Star?"

"I'm not sure. The paper that Walter had created explained what has been done, what the money has been spent on so far, and the amount spent."

I read the paper to him and he thinks about it for a moment, "That doesn't work."

"I know... I am just hoping that it isn't Walter taking money out and that it is an honest mistake."

My dad lets out a sigh, "I will see if Jem can find anything... I will also send Maya in to make sure nothing else happens."

"Okay... I will talk to you later."

"Yeah... Love you, Hayden."

"Bye, dad. Love you too."

I hang up and sigh as I look at the pile of paperwork on my desk. This is what is going to take me forever to get done. At least if I start now I should be done by the time I go home. I start working on it. Getting halfway through it before there is a knock at my door.

I look up to see Cyril walking in, holding up a bag in his hand, "Thought you could use a break."

I smile as I put the paper I was reading down, "I thought you had an important meeting today."

"I did... Until they called and decided to change the day," he walks in and sits down in the chair in front of me, "Got some onion rings and a hamburger with everything you like on it."

I smile as I move, opening a drawer and pulling out two water bottles, "And I have water."

I hand him one before putting mine down and moving everything out of the way. As we eat we both talk about how our day has been so far. I smile at him when he talks about how he is out of missions for a while. By the time we are done, he decides to stick around a little longer.

"You know... I don't have anything to do. I could always help you out here."

I laugh before handing him some of the papers. We get to work and with his help, by the time I normally leave, all the paperwork is done. We end up going home and repeat the day for the next few weeks. Nothing out of the ordinary happening. However, we did figure out where the money was going. The good news is that it wasn't Walter. The sad news is that it was someone who has been doing it for a while.

Without Neil, we don't have to worry about it, hopefully. If we have more issues it isn't going to be easy but they will all be replaced with someone we can trust to get the job done. Lately, it hasn't only been the temperature outside rising. The air conditioner may be blasting cold air but in the meeting room, no one can seem to keep a cool head.

I rub my forehead, Steve and Cyril have been going back and forth for almost an hour. The others have given up on trying to get them to stop. If anyone takes a side it gets worse. If anyone tries to change the subject they fight about it too. When I look at my watch I am happy I didn't have anything after this but lunch. Because if I did, I would be very late for that meeting.

I get up and put my hands on the table, "Enough!" they stop and look at me, "Okay... We will continue this tomorrow. I don't know about all of you but it is lunchtime and I am hungry, I would like to eat before I have any more meetings or work to do."

Everyone but Steve and Cyril quickly gets up at that and head out before they get caught in another argument. I wait until they are gone before straightening up and smoothing my dress out. I look over at Cyril and Steve, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow at them. Like two-year-olds fighting over the same toy lately, it is getting annoying.

They both get up and rub the back of their necks, "Sorry, love..."

I look over to Steve, "Steve, I am sure you said you had a lunch meeting. If you don't go now you might be late."
