I throw on my joggers and tank top before pulling my hair up in a bun. I make my way down to the door. Stopping when I see Cyril with his arms crossed over his chest as he stands next to it. I raise an eyebrow at him. Wondering who it is and why he didn't let them in. He just shrugs his shoulders and looks at his feet. Pushing his glasses up when they slide down his face.
I walk over to the door and open it. Finding out the reason Cyril didn't let them in. Who would have thought it would have been them? I should have known, Cyril would let almost anyone else in. Only because I am fine with them coming in.
I smile when I see Steve standing there, "Hello."
He looks at me, "Hey, I thought I would come and make sure you were okay."
I nod my head, "I'm fine. Would you like to come in?"
"Sure."
I open the door more and move out of the way to let him in. Probably not what Cyril wants but he should know, he has nothing to worry about. I don't have room for anyone else in my heart. If he did have something to worry about I would have mentioned it sooner. Except Jamie but he just assumes it's because I was watching him after Madison's fake death.
Cyril ends up coming over to me and looking at me, "You need to change that."
He ends up taking the bandaid off of my forehead and putting another one over the cut before kissing it and turning around to look at Steve, "Thanks..." I just stare at Cyril, what is going on?
Steve holds out his hand, "I didn't expect you to be here Cyril."
Cyril takes his hand and shakes it, "Just came to keep Hayden company and make sure that she is alright."
Steve nods his head, "I just thought I would come by... Make sure that she is alright and give her these."
He holds up a small bouquet of red roses, "You didn't have to do that."
I try to keep the smile on my face. It is almost like looking at Dean with a couple differences. He always got me red roses, probably the biggest reason I hate them. I didn't always hate them but they have a different meaning.
"I passed a flower shop on my way here so I thought why not."
I take them, "I'll go put these in some water..." I walk into the kitchen and grab a vase, putting them in some water before going back, "Alicia told you about the change for the meeting right?"
They are in a vase for now. When I get the chance they are going into the trash can. Or I could give them out. They were a gift. Yes, I am conflicted here. I don't like throwing gifts away, no matter how much I dislike them. So what am I going to do? Probably keep them but massively neglect them. Kidding, I can't do that either.
"Yes. I should get going though, I have another meeting I have to go to," I watch him walk to the door and turn around before opening it, "Have a good evening, Hayden. Cyril."
When he closes the door I look at Cyril, "I think we are having take out tonight..."
"Pizza?"
"Yup."
"I will call them... Also, Aaron will be here to take over while Samson is out."
I walk into the living room, "Okie dokie."
"Want me to throw them away?"
I look at him, "Please."
He gives me a small smile, "Just don't feel bad about it, I'm the one throwing them away."
Cyril comes in after I turn the T.V. on and I go back to watching more crime shows. Every now and then making bets with Cyril about who the murderer is. He gets the pizza when it gets here, stopping in the kitchen only to get napkins. He puts the box on the table before handing me my drink and sitting down.
