We laugh before Cyril pulls into the parking lot for Elements. He turns the car off and we get out. I walk to the doors, when he is by my side he holds out his arm and I take it. We walk in and go to the host. He looks at Cyril before moving and showing us to the table. When we walk to the table, Sarah stands up with a huge smile on her face.
"Look at you two. You two look so cute together," she wraps her arms around me, "So nice to see you again."
"It is always nice to see you."
She pulls away and holds me at arm's length, "You seem happier."
Nathan clears his throat and Sarah lets me go so I can hug Nathan, "Looking lovely as ever, my dear."
"Thank you. Not looking too bad yourself."
He laughs and looks over at Cyril, "It's a good thing he is treating you right. Otherwise, he would have me and your father going after him."
"How about we sit down before we get into a long story about us?"
Cyril pulls my chair out for me and I sit down, letting him push it in before I am completely seated. Even if I was he would still be able to push it in no problem. Cyril sits down to my right. Sarah is on my left. We end up talking about how we have been doing while we wait for a waiter to come to take our order.
"You two seem to be lasting longer than some were thinking."
I smile at Sarah, "It is shocking but Cyril sure knows how to treat someone he loves."
"I'm not going to let the love of my life walk out. That would be foolish."
Sarah smiles at him, "Good. Because I would drag you to her place and make you apologize if you break up."
I laugh, "We have our fights but we always seem to make up for them later."
"When Sarah and I were dating I would make her mad just so I could kiss her."
"Who doesn't do that?" Cyril questions.
After we get our food ordered I look at Sarah, "Gotten any word on our client?"
She shakes our head, "Nothing. Every now and then they are seen but nothing so far."
"That's alright, no one is getting to you so easily," Nathan says with a smile.
When our food comes we eat, still talking. Every now and then we laugh at a joke that Nathan or Cyril said. Sarah and I outdo their joke when we stop laughing. I look over to Cyril to catch him staring at me with a small smile on his face, thinking about something. He looks at his mom when she starts to talk about how Jem is. I lean closer to Cyril when Sarah turns to Nathan to tell him something.
"I'm running to the bathroom."
"Leaving me alone with my parents?"
"Only for a moment," I smirk at him, "I'm sure you can survive until I get back."
I get up and excuse myself before going to the bathroom. I get in the and frown, nothing like people coming in here for more than what they are meant for. When the door closes one of them shushes the other and it gets silent for a moment. I walk into a stall, not wanting to be in here any longer than I have to be. I get done and stand at the sink, washing my hands as I think about tomorrow again. Maybe I can talk Cyril into coming over and helping me. If not at least Samson will be there to help. As I dry my hands I hear something hit the floor and smirk.
I get to the door and grab the handle, "Careful, those stalls are fairly small."
I open the door and walk out. Passing Samson as I make my way back to the table. When I get back Cyril is rubbing the back of his neck and stops what he was saying. I sit down and Sarah calls the waiter over, wanting more wine. Her glass isn't the only one that gets filled. I stare at mine, I normally don't drink it but I am out with people.
