Slowly the world comes back to me, "Come on..."
I cough and am turned onto my side. It seems to be colder than I remembered. I shiver more, my chest hurting but I don't care about that at the moment. It takes a moment for me to stop coughing but when I do I can hear Cyril moving around. He throws his jacket over me and quickly picks me up.
"Do me a favor..."
I rest my head on his shoulder, "Hmm?"
"Just keep shivering."
"Will... do."
I open my eyes when he puts my feet on the ground, "You sure?"
I wrap the coat tighter around me as I shiver some more, watching him look around before pulling the trap door up. When the shiver starts to slow down I watch Cyril frown. He grabs me, making sure I get in before coming in. He closes the door as I sink to the ground. My chest is sore, the shivering not helping any, even if it isn't as bad as it was before.
"Hey..."
I glance up at him as he comes over to me and I give him a weak smile, "Fine."
He picks me up, "No you're not... You are a far cry from fine."
When we get to the main area it takes a moment for me to remember where we are. Cyril puts me down on one of the cots as Liam comes over. He frowns at me before looking at Cyril. Cyril tells him what happened as Liam looks around. Madison comes back with the bags and tosses one to Cyril.
He turns to me, "Let's get you into something that isn't soaking wet."
I watch him open the bag and pull out some dry clothes. He hands them to me and everyone turns around. I try to get my shirt off but curse when I can't get the buttons undone, my hands shaking too much. I hear Cyril sigh before turning around and crouching down in front of me.
"Could have just asked for help."
I frown, "I can d-do do it."
"How about I help you. I can get your holsters off while you change your shirt."
I don't bother arguing with Cyril, with his help I get changed faster than I would have without it. He grabs my hands and cups them in his, trying to help warm them up. Madison comes over and throws a blanket over my shoulders before walking away to help Reyna with something. It takes a while but I finally stop shivering and I look at Cyril.
"Can I get these blankets off of me now?"
"Your lips are still blue, you can wait a little longer."
"They're not that bad."
Liam comes over and shrugs his shoulders, "Why not."
I stare at Liam, he normally doesn't agree with me, he just smiles at me and Cyril looks at him, "What do you mean why not?"
"She still has them on doesn't she?"
After a while they let me take the blankets off. Liam makes Cyril move out of the way so he can make sure that I am fine. No matter how many times I say that I am fine. So I fell in the water and passed out, I am alive, aren't I?
He frowns as he pokes my side and I move away from him, "Stop that already."
"That will be a nice bruise... Just watch her to make sure she doesn't get sick."
"Don't want to make sure I live?" I smirk.
I watch him walk over to Nikole, "That way I'm not splitting my attention."
I end up sitting next to Cyril on the ground looking at the laptop in front of him. Jem looks at me for a moment, "You look horrible."
"Thanks. I tried."
