As we walk out I smile when Cyril takes my hand as we walk past Cash. I think someone is just a little jealous. Even though he should know there isn't anything to worry about. If there was, I would have said something.
He wraps his arm around my shoulder and we walk out to his motorcycle, "Jealous much?"
"What makes you say that?"
I laugh a little, "The way you were acting."
We get to his motorcycle and stop when three people push themselves off of the wall they were leaning on. I can feel Cyril tense up and I do the same, knowing that they were waiting for us. One takes the front, the other two on each side. Blond on the left and brunet on the right. The leader holds up his hand and the other two stop. He takes a step closer so he isn't too far from me.
A sick smile spreads on his face, "You might just be the ones we are looking for."
"She walks with a slight limp like he said she would," says the blond.
"They fit the description if you ask me, boss," the brunet adds.
Cyril pulls me behind him, "Get lost."
The leader chuckles, "We can do this one of two ways."
I pull Cyril down so I can whisper in his ear, "I have one gun and ten bullets. Think we can do this and get out of here?"
Cyril shrugs his shoulder, "Looks like you are the only one with a gun."
I smirk, "Have some late night fun shall we."
I reach down and act like I am tying my shoe, I grab my gun from its holster around my leg and we quickly rush to the other side of a car, using it for cover. I hand the gun over to Cyril and pull out my phone, calling Madison to let her know we might be a little late getting back. That way she doesn't worry too much.
I look over at Cyril when he curses under his breath, "What?"
"They are hard to hit."
I frown when he hands me my gun back, "You used ten bullets and didn't hit a single one of them."
"False. I used ten bullets and hit one of them."
I let out a sigh, "They sound like they are out too, let the real fun begin."
We move from our spot and fight the last two. I frown when I get stuck with the leader, "Why did I have to get you?"
"Come on doll, don't sound so upset about it."
When he goes to kick me I move so I am closer to him, making it so he doesn't have enough room to make it effective. I frown as he keeps pushing me back, he is bigger than me so this isn't going to be easy. I grab some dirt and throw it in his face. I hit his diaphragm and watch him fall to the ground trying to catch his breath.
I look up to see Cyril get punched in the nose and cringe. His eyes water as he grabs the man and throws him towards one of the few cars out here. I don't have time to move when the leader hits my left leg. I wince as pain races up my leg. I put my hand on the cold stone wall to stay standing as my other hand goes to my leg.
"That confirms that you were injured there."
Before I can do anything he tackles me to the ground and pins me down. His face only inches from mine. That was rude. I mean, I know I threw dirt in his face but still. He is bigger than me and I use what I can. Never fair when you aren't that big.
I try to flip us but stop when he applies pressure to my leg, "Stop," I hiss at him.
"I will if you do. It would be sad to have to get new stitches because you didn't want to comply."
