After a few, we split off and I go back to our living area to relax and see what I can get. Cyril comes back with lunch and hands it to me as I go through a list of jobs that they took. Poor Jem only gave it to me so if I knew anything I could tell my parents about it. So far, I don't see anything in common with them other than the factor that Cyril and I did them together.

We spend the rest of the day trying to figure something out, only stopping when Cyril brings food. As I stare at the papers in front of me Cyril runs his hand through his brown hair as he sighs. He gets up and stretches as I stay sitting on the couch, slipping into my own little world of thoughts. If I can figure something out then we can get a head start and get to them before anyone else can.

"They can't be selling it for information, the FBI wouldn't find it useful."

"Mmhm."

"So maybe they just want to see what jobs we have done together."

"Mmhm."

"You know, so they can find you a date."

"Mmhm."

"Haydie, you aren't even listening to me. You need a break. Go get some rest and maybe it will come to you later."

I look up at him, "No... I swear it is just within my grasp but-"

"You need rest, you know that."

"I can go-"

"Get rest and with fresh eyes figure it out later... Plus it might come to you in your sleep."

Before I can do anything he comes over to me and picks me up, "Put me down this instant!"

When he doesn't I quickly move, getting out of his arms, "Hayden."

"Just one more minute!"

He sighs and walks away. I go back to my spot and stare at everything, slipping into my little world again. Before I know it my eyelids are getting heavy and I'm sitting down on the floor, leaning against the couch. It doesn't take long for me to fall asleep. It is pitch black before everything changes to what happened. As I go through every word, every movement, clothing, and detail I slowly piece together what they came here for. My sister's face flashes in front of my eyes and before I know it I am reliving the day she died.

I jolt awake as a gun goes off and look around. The lights are off and someone put a blanket around me. I quickly get up and go into Cyril's room. I shake him awake as I say his name. When he finally wakes up he looks at me. He blinks for a few and I just smile at him. I think I have an idea and he is going to come with me, only because I know better than going out to see if I am right by myself.

"What?"

"Ready for a little trip."

He sits up, "I would say no but you would go without me and probably get yourself in trouble."

"I would not."

He gets up, "Go get ready."

I go to my room and quickly get ready. When I get out I grab a quick snack and wait for Cyril. He eventually comes out and we head over to Jem's. I knock on his door and Cyril takes the right side, leaning against the door so he isn't in the way. When Jem finally opens the door he looks at me and rubs the back of his neck. Being Cyril's younger brother makes it easy to talk to him, we know each other a little more than anyone else.

I give him my classic smile, "Hey... I know you have something."

"No. Don't get me wrong, I would love to help you find out who it is but your father gave me specific instructions and I don't want to be nailed to the wall for not following them..." he glances over at Cyril and sighs, "And you aren't stopping her?"
