Every streak of color
is a different face
For everyone
The leader:
A beautiful rose-
the symbol of love?
Or blood flowing
in tears,
leaving a trail of pain?
The runner-up:
A bright sunset
its vibrant color
reflecting onto the sea?
Or dying autumn leaves
left on the ground to rot?
The third wheel:
Sunshine rays
on the sidewalk?
Or crime-scene tape
blocking off a disaster
from the rest of the world?
Mother nature's favorite:
Gentle blades of grass
against your skin?
Or a symbol of
Greed and
Envy?
The Popular One:
Clear
bubbly water,
a sign of life?
Or Depression and
Sadness?
The follower:
A calm field of
Lavender
dancing with the wind?
Or midnight sky that conceals
darkness too great to imagine?
A whole world
of colors
And I had to be grey?
