I look out the window
And the driveway's empty
Like my stomach
When I realize you're gone again
I gasp like it's my last breath
Because I can't breathe
I swallow air
It's not enough
I gulp as the lump in my throat
Overpowers my urge to scream
But I have no energy to care
Because you left
And I can't breathe
Again
