Chapter 21: Awkward!!

Peter fell asleep near to Karylle's bed.. While, Vice woke up at 3 in the morning and he decided to go down stairs to check for K..

Vice noticed the door on K's room slightly opened.. He carefully open the door and found Peter sleeping in a sitting position near K's bed and leaning his head on the bed.. Vice walked in and stand next to Peter..

Vice: Peter.. Hey! Peter.. (Whispering while tapping Peter's shoulder)..

Peter: Hmmn!! (Lifting his head and face Vice)

Vice: Let's talk outside.. (Whispered and walk out the room)

Peter stared Karylle's face and smiled before he followed Vice outside and he saw him standing at the garden.. Peter went closer to him.. Peter thought that Vice is acting weird, it is the first time that Vice called him to talk about something.. That never happened before, it's Peter who always ask for conversation..

Peter: So, what's up?!.. (Smiling)

Vice: ...(Silent)..

Peter: Hey!.. You know what, you're acting weird Vice..

Vice: ..(Frowning but still not facing Peter).. Weird?!

Peter: Yes! Cause this is the first time that you insisted to talk to me.. So, i believe that this conversation is really important hah?!.. (Looked up)

Vice: ..(Sighed deeply).. Weird? Maybe! Cause i never felt this way before.. And i never imagined my life to be in this situation..(Looked down)

Peter: What do you mean??.. (Staring at Vice)

Vice: She likes you Pete.. And i like her.. Thats what i mean..(Still not facing Peter)

Peter: Who?! (Frowning)

Vice: Karylle.. She did not know that you are...... No offense, that you are Gay.. But she saw you and a guy kissing in your office this morning..

Peter: So, that is why she went gone this morning?

Vice: I saw her crying at the lounge, so i took her out.... I hate seeing her like that!..(Face Peter)

Peter: But.. I did not mean to... To hurt her.(Face daown)

A minute of silence...

Vice: Tell me the truth Pete... (Faced Peter)... Do you like her??

Peter: .............. (Looked at Vice but he did not answer).........

Vice: (Sighed)... At least, you already know.. Now stop showing things that she might misinterpreted... Wag mo siyang paasahin!.. Just back off, Pete.. (Turned and walk away)

Peter was left downfounded.. He doesn't know what to say.. He does not know how to react on it.. Peter knows that he likes Karylle so much but not that deeply, cause he is a gay for Pete's sake!.. Until Peter decided to go back inside the house, but lastly before he proceeded to his room, he checked on Karylle while she's still sleeping.. He kept on staring at her, and thinking what he should do..

Peter: K.. I'm sorry if you are feeling this way.. Hurting you is the least thing that i want to do.. Forgive me for being like this.. (Whispering while touching K's hair)

And Peter walked out and went straightly to his room and lazily dropped his things and lay down on his bed.. He can't sleep... The situation that he and Vice had awhile ago, is keep on playing on his mind..

Peter: Do i have to step out?.. Can't we just stay on where we are and what we have, K?! (Closed his eyes and a tear drop from the corner of his eye)
