Nadia entered the Great Hall the next morning with Ashton gushing about how she survived a troll attack and Sam, being the motherly friend she was, scolding her. "Hey, save me a seat? I just need to talk to Harry." Nadia asked with a smile. The girls nodded as she approached the Gryffindor table.

"Go on. Take a bit of toast mate." Ron urged.

"Ron's right, Harry. You need your energy for today." Hermione added just as Nadia reached them. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Why aren't you eating, Harry?" Nadia asked concernedly.

"I'm not hungry." Harry mumbled.

Nadia sighed and took a seat beside him. She began to pile bacon, eggs and sausages onto his plate. "Eat. You'll feel better after, I promise." She rose and placed a chaste kiss to his cheek. Harry's eyes widened as a blush crept up his neck and smirk's graced Ron and Hermione's faces. "Good luck, Harry. I'll be cheering for you." With one last smile, she made for the Ravenclaw table and settled beside Sam.

"Okay. What was that?" Sam questioned with raised brows.

"What was what?" Nadia asked, taking a bite of toast.

"You know exactly what." Ashton said whilst wriggling her eyebrows suggestively. "You just kissed Harry Potter."

"On the cheek. Besides, I was just wishing him good luck. It didn't mean anything." Nadia sputtered out, her cheeks becoming hot.

"Mhmm, that's not what your pink face says." Sam stated with a wink. Nadia only rolled her eyes with a grin.

"Come on. Let's just get to the Quidditch Stands before all the good seats are gone."

The stands roared with cheers as the Gryffindor and Slytherin teams flew onto the pitch, bracing themselves for the first Quidditch game of the year.

Harry's eyes scanned the crowd and was met with Nadia's piercing green eyes and stunning smile. The nerves in the pit of his stomach settled instantly. "Hello and welcome to the first Quidditch game of the season! Today's game: Slytherin vs. Gryffindor!" Lee Jordan's enthusiastic voice echoed around the pitch.

Nadia watched Harry get himself comfortable in the air as Madam Hooch walked onto the pitch with a large trunk The teams then circled around her. "Now I want a nice, clean game. From all of you." Her last words were aimed at the viciously-smirking Slytherins as she kicked the trunk and released all the balls.

"The Bludgers are up followed by the Golden Snitch! Remember, the Snitch is worth 150 points. The first seeker to catch the Snitch ends the game!" At that moment, Harry heard the faint sound of the Snitch zipping right by his ear. He tried desperately to keep it in his sight but it was proving to be much more easier said than done.

Madam Hooch then picked up the Quaffle and launched it into the sky, blowing her whistle. "The Quaffle is released! Let the game begin!" Lee announced over the violent cheers of the students.

Angelina Johnson, a Gryffindor chaser, had possession of the Quaffle and, after dodging almost the whole Slytherin team, she managed to jet the Quaffle through the goalposts and score Gryffindor's first goal. "Angelina Johnson scores! 10 points to Gryffindor!" Lee bellowed as the cheers grew louder. A chorus of groans sounded from the Slytherins.

Harry clapped but nearly tumbled from his broom as a Bludger came soaring past. Nadia let out a sigh of relief as he re-balanced himself. "Slytherin takes possession. Bletchley passes to Captain: Marcus Flint." Lee commented.

Flint managed to dodge everyone and threw for the goalposts but Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor Captain and Quidditch enthusiast, appeared in time and whacked the Quaffle away with the end of his broom. He smirked at Flint who growled.

Angelina and Katie Bell passed the Quaffle back and forth as they strategised to score. Angelina took it, threw and, once again, scored. "Another 10 points to Gryffindor!" A riot of cheers sounded from the Gryffindor stands. Nadia clapped happily.

However, to everyone but the Slytherins displeasure, the green and silver team had started to play dirty. They dodged, kicked and tried to score but Oliver was able to block it again. "Give me that!" Flint spat to one of his Beaters, snatching the bat from his hand and hitting the Bludger straight at Oliver. It smashed him off his broom and sent him crashing onto the sand below. Harry groaned angrily as Gryffindor booed the display whilst Slytherin rallied on.

"Take that side." Flint ordered. They boxed Angelina in as she jetted for the goalposts. She became confused and trapped as they sent her straight through the cape of one of the stands. Nadia frowned.

Then, Harry heard a familiar buzzing sound. He zoomed straight after it but his broom suddenly halted and began to jerk out of control. Nadia watched in horror as it thrusted Harry around violently.

"What's happenin' to Harry's broom?" Hagrid asked worriedly. Hermione scanned the pitch with her binoculars, only to see Snape staring at Harry and muttering something under his breath.

"It's Snape!" She told Ron. "He's jinxing the broom!"

"Jinxing the broom? What do we do?" The red-head exclaimed.

"Leave it to me." Was all she said before placing the binoculars in Ron's hands and disappearing into the crowd.

Nadia furrowed her eyebrows as she spotted Hermione's bushy brown hair underneath the teacher's tower. Then, she set Snape's robes on fire. That caused enough commotion for Snape to panic and attempt to put out the fire. As he did so, he knocked over many other teachers, sending Professor Quirrell tumbling backwards. However, it also caused Harry to regain control of his broom and he continued after the Snitch. Nadia let out a breath which she didn't know she was holding and cheered extra loud for Harry.

Harry and the Slytherin seeker were neck and neck, the Snitch just an arm's length away from them. He kept ramming into him so Harry rammed back as the Snitch began diving to the ground.

Both seekers chased after it but the ground got closer and closer and the Snitch didn't look like it was going to stop. The Slytherin seeker backed out at the last minute as Harry pulled up his broom, narrowly missing the ground.

The Snitch was just in front of him but holding his arm out wasn't helping. So, Harry decided to stand up as his broom rocketed through the air. Just as his fingers grazed the golden ball, the end of his broom tipped forward and he went tumbling onto the grass.

Nadia watched fearfully as Harry stood and clutched his stomach. He gagged, as though he was about to be sick, but when he opened his mouth, a golden ball popped out into his hands.

The Snitch. Harry had caught the Snitch.

He waved it around in the air as the Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and even Ravenclaw, who were known not to get very invested in Quidditch games, stands erupted with screams of victory. "He's got the Snitch! Harry Potter earns 150 points for catching the Snitch!" Lee bellowed into the microphone.

Madam Hooch returned to the pitch and blew her whistle. "Gryffindor wins!"

Draco dropped his head in his hands, groaning with disappointment. The Slytherins in general were a mess of groans and shouts of frustration. They had just lost their first Quidditch game in years.

Nadia bounded over to Harry, wrapping him in a tight hug. "You did it! You caught the Snitch! Oh, I knew you would do it!" She jumped up and down with child-like glee.

Harry chuckled at the excited girl bouncing in front of him. "It was because of you."

"Me?" She questioned, breathless from jumping.

"Yeah." Harry beamed. "You were my good luck charm." Nadia felt her cheeks grow hot at his words as a grin crawled into her face, a tingling sensation filling her stomach as his eyes bored into hers.

Was she starting to feel something for him?
