Nadia squinted as the blinding sunlight jabbed straight into her eyes. She sighed and pulled the covers over the top of her head.

It was three weeks through summer and Nadia was bored.

Her mother had been incredibly busy as well as rather secretive (Nadia had tried to get it out of her but to no avail) and all that was keeping her sane was the stream of letters from her friends.

Speaking of, a small tapping noise repeatedly sounded from the large window. A huge smile immediately graced her features when she noticed the beautiful black owl perched outside, a letter within its mouth.

She bounded to the window and took the letter from the bird, feeding it a couple of treats whilst it and Olivia chirped affectionately.

With one last hoot, the owl disappeared and Nadia tore into the parchment.

Dear Nadia,

My summer has been boring too.

My father hasn't been around much, thankfully, but mother is slightly suffocating me. She says I'm getting too old but she doesn't want me to grow up.

She said she doesn't want me to turn sixteen either. I'm not exactly sure what she means by that but it's getting a little too much.

Anyway, I'm sorry your summer isn't going any better, beautiful.

We're almost half way through now. Five weeks until I can see you again.

I miss you.

Love,
Draco

She smiled at the letter and made a mental note to reply later. Then, a knock sounded.

Dippey entered the room. "Good morning, Miss Nadia. Mistress Katerina would like to see you. She said it was finally time you were told about something."

Nadia knitted her eyebrows together. "Hmm. Thank you, Dippey. Tell her I'll be down in a minute."

Dippey nodded before closing the door.

Nadia pondered for a minute. Was this why she was being so secretive? What did it mean by 'finally time'? She sighed again before hopping off her bed and getting ready.

"Mum?" Nadia called out, her bare feet pitter-patting across the marble floor.

"In here, angel." Katerina called from the living room. Nadia made her way there, confusion residing on her face.

"What's up?"

"Sit, sit." Katerina urged.

Nadia sat and opened her mouth to ask something but was cut off by her mother's hand. "You must have some questions as to why I've been so busy." Nadia nodded then gestured for her to continue.

"Well, you see, I'm...we're part of this organisation." She explained.

Nadia's eyebrows creased. "Organisation?"
