"Today we acknowledge a really terrible loss." Dumbledore spoke solemnly, the usual twinkle in his eye gone. "Cedric Diggory was as you all know, exceptionally hard working, intricately fair minded. And most importantly a fierce fierce friend. I think therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, Cedric Diggory was murdered by Lord Voldemort." Nadia clutched onto Draco's hand for dear life as a few tears escaped her eyes.

"The Ministry of Magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so, I think, would be an insult to his memory. Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me, reminds us, that while we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one. In light of recent events, the bonds of friendship we made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain, you remember that. And we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true right to the very end."

After the memorial, the students sombered out of the Great Hall having lost their appetite. Almost everyone knew and loved Cedric and it was devastating to know that a Hogwarts student had died. Devastating to know that a Hogwarts student had been murdered.

Nadia still had her hand in Draco's as they dragged themselves through the corridors, her eyes stinging with tears.

As they reached the Ravenclaw knocker, Draco pulled her in for a hug. "Do you want me to come inside?" He whispered softly, stroking her head.

She looked up at him and gave the best smile she could muster. "No. I think I'm just going to sleep it off. I'll be okay."

"Only if you're sure, love." He connected their lips in a small, comforting kiss as Nadia nodded. He then made his way to the dungeons.

"Everyone has it but no one can lose it. What is it?"

"A shadow." Nadia answered, her voice croaky, before heading straight for the dorms.

She collapsed on her bed and rubbed her temples, exhaling loudly.

The door opened and she felt the bed sink either side of her as two hands grabbed each of hers. "We're sorry Nads. We know how much he meant to you." Sam cooed.

Nadia squeezed her eyes shut whilst a few tears ran down the sides of her face. "Both of you. Don't ever leave me. Please don't ever leave me." Her voice cracked with every word.

"Never." Ashton whispered, pulling the cover over the three girls as they all cuddled into eachother.

Eventually, sleep caught up with them as the moon rose outside. It was very luminescent tonight, almost as if Cedric was looking down on them, smiling his bright, white smile.

A few days had passed and everyone was saying their final goodbyes to the girls of Beauxbatons and the boys of Durmstrang.

Viktor approached Hermione with a piece of parchment and placed a kiss on her hand. "Write to me. Promise."

"Bye." She grinned giddily.

Fleur and her sister captured Nadia in a warm embrace. "Au revoir Nadia." Fleur kissed her cheek.

"I'll never forget what you did." Fleur's sister added before also reaching up to kiss her cheek.

The Beauxbatons girls left in their uniform, the crowd applauding their way out. More applause sounded for the Durmstrang boys.

Soon, the pegasus' were gliding through the air and the ship was disappearing under the water.

"Do you ever think we'll have a quiet year at Hogwarts?" Ron asked. Nadia looped her arm through his with a small smile.
