"Now, I know how you feel about Umbridge but just hear me out." Draco pleaded, trying to calm his frustrated girlfriend.
"Of course you know how I feel about her, I'm only telling you all the time." Nadia drawled sarcastically, folding her arms across her chest.
"Listen, I'm only doing it for the extra credit." He protested.
"And a chance to get back at Potter." She mimicked her flustered boyfriend with narrowed eyes. "Look, need I remind you that she threatened my mother's job just because I voiced my opinion and then she bloody tortured me in detention, leaving me with a lifelong scar!" She raised her hand and Draco's mouth immediately curved into a frown at the sight of pink-tinged words lingering on her skin.
"I'm sorry." Draco whispered, still eyeing her hand.
Nadia bit her lip with guilt at the sound of Draco's crestfallen voice and the sorrowful look in his captivating eyes. "It's not your fault." She sighed. "I shouldn't have got so worked up about it. It's just...her and all these stupid rules and pointless lessons and--" Her voice died abruptly as a pair of warm, soft lips placed themselves on hers.
Nadia immediately melted into the kiss, wrapping her arms around Draco's neck.
After a beat, the pair broke apart with smiles adorning their faces and lungs trying to breathe again. "Sorry." Draco shrugged with a smirk. "It was the only way to shut you up."
Nadia rolled her eyes playfully with a laugh. "Forgive me?" Draco asked, batting his eyelashes with a grin.
Nadia raised a brow and pushed his shoulder. "There's nothing to forgive you for." She pulled him in for a hug, nuzzling her head into his chest and inhaling the intoxicating scent of his cologne, reminding her of fresh linen and mint.
"I'll miss you over Christmas." She muttered into his shirt.
"It's only two weeks, love." Draco kissed the top of her head, squeezing her waist slightly.
"Two weeks too long." Draco chuckled at Nadia's comment before pulling away and tucking a loose strand of her black locks behind her ear.
"I love you." He whispered, pressing his forehead against hers.
"I love you too." She whispered back before sharing one last passionate kiss and exiting the Astronomy Tower, hand in hand.

"Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas!" Arthur Weasley chortled whilst Mrs Weasley helped him into his chair.
"Here we are. Daddy's back." She cooed.
Nadia smiled sadly at his bandages and bruises. If it wasn't for Harry and his connection to Voldemort, it may have been too late for Arthur. Nadia didn't want to think about how the Weasleys would handle losing him, it brought back too much about her own father.
She sniggered silently at the fond memory of her father when he burnt her birthday cake on her 9th birthday whilst absent-mindedly playing with the wedding band on her index finger.
"Everything alright, angel?" Katerina whispered concernedly, taking a seat beside her daughter.
"Yes. Everything's fine." Nadia answered and, for once in a long time, she was telling the truth.
