TRIGGER WARNING - EATING DISORDER
Nadia grinned, sighing contently as she strolled through the desolate corridors, looking out over Hogwarts' icy grounds.
"Remember! These visits to Hogsmeade Village are a privilege. Should your behaviour act poorly on the school, this privilege will not be extended again."
A large crowd of excited students gathered in the courtyard, giggling and chatting with eachother. The Hogsmeade trip was something every student couldn't wait for as soon as they entered third year. Nadia, herself, wouldn't be going but it seemed she wasn't the only one with a blank permission slip.
"No permission slip signed, no visiting the village. That's the rule, Potter," Professor McGonagall snapped before Harry could so much as utter a syllable.
"Yes, Professor, but I thought if you said I could go?"
"Only a parent or guardian can sign the form and since I am neither, it would be inappropriate!" A flicker of pity flashed across her eyes as she frowned, "I'm sorry, Potter. That's my final word."
Dejected, Harry sighed and moved away from the busy courtyard. Ron and Hermione looked at him sadly but he shook his head and gestured for them to leave. They waved farewell and followed after the crowd.
Nadia came from behind him with a comforting smile. He looked at her confused. "Mum couldn't find the time to sign my slip. Busy summer." She mumbled with a shrug.
"Then let's spend the day together." The bespectacled boy said, taking her hand, just as a disheveled and worn Professor Lupin approached them.
"No Hogsmeade, eh?" The couple shook their heads. "Harry, do you mind if we go for a walk?"
"Oh--" He looked at Nadia regretfully but she smiled.
"It's okay, go. There's something I wanted to do today, anyway."
He tilted his head, squeezing her hand slightly. "Are you sure?"
"Yes, Harry, go." She placed a soft kiss on his cheek and headed inside the castle.
She reached the library with ease and scanned each and every bookshelf for something which could help her with the task on hand, this task being Hermione and her suspicious activity.
Her eyes flitted over thousands upon thousands of books before one in particular caught her attention: 'Time-Turners and Time Travel'.
Pulling the book out, she settled herself at an empty table and began skim reading the pages.
'A Time-Turner is a magical device used for time travel. It is a special timepiece which resembles an hourglass on a necklace.
The British Ministry of Magic encased an Hour-Reversal charm in the time turners they created, for additional stability. The number of times one turns the hourglass corresponds to the number of hours one travels back in time. However, they can only stay in the past for five hours at a time, without the possibility of serious harm to the traveller or to time itself.'
Nadia's eyes widened. She had figured it out. "Hermione Jean Granger, you sneaky, son of a--"
"Shh!"
