"You will copy out the approved text four times to ensure maximum retention." Umbridge commanded, stalking up and down the aisles. "There will be no need to talk."
"No need to think's more like it." Nadia stated flatly. Umbridge only glared before carrying on.
Nadia could only wish that time would go fast so she'd feel her coin heat up against her thigh and be back in the Room of Requirement, learning to defend herself effectively.
Thankfully, it seemed something was on her side today since, before she knew it, she was sneaking through the corridors, wand at the ready.
"Stunning is one of the most useful spells in your arsenal!" Harry called over the cracking of spells, shouts of incantations and people thudding on the floor.
"It's a wizards bread and butter really. Can we all form a line, either side. Over here." He instructed.
Everyone followed as Harry stood at the front.
"Nigel, will you join me at the opposite end please?" Harry asked, gesturing to the other end of the line.
The small second year boy took his place and aimed his wand at Harry, his hand trembling slightly.
"Come on then, Nigel. Give it your best shot."
Nigel nodded and gulped before taking a breath and screaming, "Stupefy!"
Harry was sent flying backwards but so was Nigel. They both landed with a thud.
"Good. Not bad at all, Nigel. Well done." He praised, getting back onto his feet.
Next, it was Ron and Hermione's turn.
"Don't worry. I'll go easy on you." He whispered to Hermione, obviously thinking he would win.
"Thanks, Ronald." She replied sarcastically before they both took their places.
Nadia winked at her bushy-haired best friend before giving a nod of encouragement to her red-headed best friend.
Ashton snickered beside her at Ron's smug face just as he raised his wand. But Hermione beat him to it, brandishing her wand and yelling, "Stupefy!"
Ron was hurtled backwards whilst Hermione stood her ground. Nadia giggled as she witnessed the twins exchanging coins.
All the girls crowded round Hermione, congratulating her profusely as they watched Ron try to wiggle his way out of the embarrassment. "It's good manners, isn't it?"

"Up you come. Would you like a cup of tea?" Umbridge asked, her fake smile plastered onto her toad-like face.
She had been conducting 'interviews' with students in order to find any information on the DA. She hadn't got anywhere yet and the quartet were hoping it stayed that way.
As of now, the DA were combining all their skills which they had learned over the past few weeks.
People were being stupified, wands were flying out of their owner's hands and small students were being levitated in the air.
"Now, focus on a fixed point and try again." Harry directed Neville, who had almost got Expelliarmus nailed. Sam kept reassuring him whilst Nadia and Ashton were fawning over how awkwardly cute they were.
"Very good. Keep your concentration." Harry praised then he placed his hand on Cho's, lifting her wand as she levitated Nigel.
