"I killed Sirius Black! I killed Sirius Black!" Bellatrix sang as she skipped through the door.

Nadia couldn't even register when Harry chased after her, the anger practically spouting out of him.

Remus tried to stop him but it was too late.

Nadia and Ron were in a heap on the floor, Ron's shirt stained with blood and tears. Hermione was hugging the trembling girl from behind as all the aurors were comprehending the situation.

"She's gone. I can't believe she's gone." Nadia kept muttering between sobs whilst Ron tried to comfort her.

"Listen." Hermione sighed and took her face in her hands. "Yes, she's gone, but you will stay strong, okay? Because she's not really gone and never will be. Neither will Sirius or...your father. They'll always be in our hearts." She took a breath.

"What happened here tonight will scar us forever but we'll be stronger because of it. Nadia, I love you so much, okay? Anything you need, just ask." Hermione kissed her cheek and wiped the blood from her forehead.

Nadia's sobs died down as she stood with the aid of Neville and Ron. "We need to find Harry." She choked out.

The group nodded and headed for the door, running like their lives depended on it.

They came to a stop in the main lobby of the Ministry of Magic. Their was debris everywhere from a fight which had taken place and Harry was crumpled on the floor, his eyes blood red.

The group watched with sadness as Harry took on the snake-faced freak. "You're the weak one. And you'll never know love...or friendship...and I feel sorry for you." He strained to speak but that didn't stop him.

All of a sudden, something bursted out of Harry. Voldemort.

He leant over him and smiled viciously. "You're a fool, Harry Potter. And you will lose everything."

Then, Cornelius Fudge and other Ministry workers raced into the lobby, staring wide-eyed at the Dark Wizard in front of them.

"He's back."

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Sam asked, crawling under the covers and bringing Nadia into her motherly embrace.

"Numb."

Sam sighed and stroked her head, glaring at the small scar on her forehead. "One day, these Death Eaters will pay. All of them."

Nadia let out a humourless laugh. "Good luck with that. They're ruthless. They'd kill you as soon as they saw you. Even if you were innocent."

"Well I'd sure as hell try." After a moment, Sam spoke again. "Why don't you go and see Draco? Or I can get him to come here? He's terribly worried. Maybe he can help you pack?"

Nadia nodded with the best smile she could muster. "Please."

Sam returned the smile and left the bed to go and search for Draco. Nadia immediately missed the warmth.

She rolled onto her back and stared at the top of her bed, contemplating everything. Both her parents were dead. She didn't have any other family. Where would she go? What about Dippey? She was sure that he would be completely devastated, maybe more so than herself.

Her thoughts were interrupted by another body enveloping hers and nuzzling into her neck, trailing butterfly kisses up and down it. "Everything will be okay again, baby. I promise."
