Nadia breathed the fresh air after being sat in the Great Hall for hours, completing her end-of-year exams. She thought she did well, Ashton on the other hand, "I'm pretty sure I failed everything."

"Ash, you did fine." Sam whined, having enough of the girl's complaints.

"Yeah, but it would have helped if you studied. Even a little bit." Nadia added with a smirk.

"Yes, well, I don't live in the library like you two strange people." Ashton fired back.

"We do not live in the library." Sam and Nadia dismissed in unison. Then, Nadia spotted the trio. "Hey, I'll catch you later."

"See you."

Nadia jogged over to Harry, Ron and Hermione with a smile. "How did you find the exams?"

"I've always heard that Hogwarts' end-of-year exams were frightful, but I found them rather enjoyable." Hermione beamed.

Ron scrunched his nose. "Speak for yourself." Nadia shook her head with a smile, however, she quickly became concerned at Harry who was wincing and rubbing his scar.

"Alright there, Harry?" She asked anxiously.

"My scar. It keeps burning." Harry replied.

"It's happened before." Hermione stated.

Harry shook his head. "Not like this."

"Maybe you should see Madam Pomfrey?" Ron suggested.

"I think it's a warning. It means danger's coming. Ahh!" Harry gripped his scar and yelped as the trio watched on nervously. Then, a soft tune filled the air and Harry gasped. "Of course!" Without another thought, Harry sprinted over to Hagrid's hut.

The three looked at each other, bewildered, before chasing after the boy. "What is it?" Hermione voiced.

"Don't you think it's a bit odd that what Hagrid wants more than anything is a dragon and a stranger turns up, who just happens to have one? I mean, how many people walk around with dragon eggs in their pockets? Why didn't I see it before?" Harry explained as they reached the man playing his flute.

"Hagrid! Who gave you the dragon egg?" Harry asked exasperatedly.

Hagrid furrowed his bushy eyebrows before answering. "I don't know. Never saw his face, he kept his hood up."

"The stranger though, you and he must have talked?" Harry continued frantically.

"Well, he wanted ter know what sorts of creatures I looked after. I said after Fluffy, a dragon's not gonna be a problem."

"And did he seem interested in Fluffy?"

"Well o'course he was interested in Fluffy! How often do yer come across a three-headed dog, even if yer in the trade?" Hagrid chuckled. "But I told him, I said: The trick with any beast is ter know how ter calm it. Take Fluffy, fer example, jus' play him a bit of music and he falls right asleep."

The four gaped as Hagrid's eyes widened. "I shouldn't have told you that." However, the group were already racing back to the castle, ignoring Hagrid's calls echoing behind them.

Once back inside, they dashed through the corridors to Professor McGonagall's classroom, tearing through the aisles and pushing past tables to reach her desk. "We have to see Professor Dumbledore immediately!" Harry demanded.

Professor McGonagall looked at the breathless children with confusion. "I'm afraid Professor Dumbledore isn't here. He received an urgent owl from the Ministry of Magic and left for London right away."
