Scabior and the other Snatchers roughly escorted the quartet past the yew hedges. Nadia warily eyed the white peacocks that looked like ghostly lawn ornaments.
Just behind her, she could hear almost silent whispers coming from Harry and Hermione.
Then, they came to the gate where Bellatrix Lestrange stood eagerly.
Scabior pushed Harry's face up against the iron bars, causing Bellatrix's face to light up with hope. "Show me."
Scabior lifted his fringe, revealing the mis-shapened scar etched into his lumpy forehead. At this point, her dark eyes were shining with glee.
Scabior guided the group into Malfoy Mansion's living room where Bellatrix Lucius and Narcissa were waiting.
"Get Draco." Bellatrix hissed.
Draco walked in, his face sunken and pale.
When his eyes landed on the quartet, he halted and visibly gulped. Nadia wanted to tear herself free from Greyback's grip and run into his arms. But that wasn't an option; she couldn't get him in trouble.
Bellatrix took his hand and placed him in front of Harry. "Well?"
After a minute, Draco spoke up. "I can't be sure."
Bellatrix huffed impatiently as Lucius grabbed Draco rather harshly by the back of his neck. "Look closely, son. If we are the ones who hand Potter to the Dark Lord, everything would be forgiven. It would all be as it was. Understood?"
"Now we won't be forgetting who really caught him I hope, Mr Malfoy." Scabior said with a taunting tone.
Lucius's head snapped to him. "You dare talk to me like that in my own house!"
Narcissa stood and took Lucius' arm. "Lucius! Calm down."
"Don't be shy. Come closer." Bellatrix beckoned. "Now, Draco, if this isn't who we think it is and we call him, he won't hesitate to kill us all. We need to be absolutely sure."
Draco nodded slowly and locked sad eyes with Nadia before kneeling down in front of Harry.
He gazed at him for a while before grimacing. "What's wrong with his face?"
"Yes. What is wrong with his face?" Bellatrix rose her eyebrows expectantly at the Snatchers.
"We captured him like that. Something he caught in the forest I reckon." Scabior shrugged.
Upon further inspection, Bellatrix laughed. "Looks like a stinging jinx to me. Was it you?" She looked to Hermione.
"Give me her wand. Let's see what her last spell was." Scabior tossed her Hermione's wand but something caught her eye.
"What is that?" She questioned nervously. "Where did you get it from?"
"Found in it her bag when we searched her. Reckon it's mine now." The Snatcher smirked, bringing the Sword of Gryffindor closer to him.
Suddenly, Bellatrix lashed out. She used her wand as a whip, strangling Greyback and tying up Scabior. Then, she sent the Snatcher flying as the Sword skidded along the floor.
"Get out! Get out!" She screamed. The Snatchers dashed out the room without a word.
"Cissy! Take the boys to the basement. I want to have a little chat with these two, girl to girl!" Bellatrix shrieked, getting dangerously close to Nadia and Hermione's faces.
Narcissa obeyed the fuming woman and escorted a reluctant Harry and Ron down to the dungeons.
"Now, who should we go for first? I think...you." Bellatrix pointed to Hermione, a vicious smile gracing her face.
