"That must have been the best sleep I have ever gotten!" Ashton exclaimed, taking a bite of toast. Nadia silently agreed whilst buttering her own.
Sam grinned. "Those sheets are paradise. Home just can't compare."
At the mention of 'home', Nadia's swarmed with thoughts about how her parents and Dippey were doing. She was happy to be at Hogwarts but missed them greatly.
Just then, Professor Flitwick (the Head pf Ravenclaw house) approached the girls with a handful of parchment. "Your timetables Miss Konstantinova, Miss Rivers and Miss Ripley."
"Thank you, Professor." They said in unison before reading over their timetables.
"Transfiguration first. We better get going now if we don't want to be late." Sam advised, pushing herself up from the bench.
"Yeah. McGonagall will have our heads."

Nadia was silently scribbling down Professor McGonagall's notes when Harry and Ron pelted into the classroom, sweaty and out of breath. Murmurs and giggle spread throughout the room as Hermione shook her head with a huff at the pair. Nadia smiled.
"Blimey! Could you imagine the look on old McGonagall's face if we were late?" Ron asked breathlessly, obviously thinking that Professor McGonagall wasn't in the classroom.
Nadia bit her lip and tried to tilt her head towards the grey tabby cat perched on Professor McGonagall's desk as Harry locked eyes with her, but he didn't understand what she was trying to say. Then, the tabby cat pounced from the desk and transformed into a woman.
Professor McGonagall to be exact.
Nadia could practically see Harry's stomach drop as she looked down on them with stern eyes. Ron gaped. "That was bloody brilliant!"
"Thank you for that assessment, Mr Weasley. Perhaps if I were to transfigure either you or Mr Potter into a pocket watch, maybe one of you would be on time." She scolded.
"We got lost." Harry defended feebly. Nadia mentally face-palmed at his daft excuse.
"Then perhaps a map?" McGonagall rose a brow. "I trust you don't need one to find your seats." Harry and Ron shook their heads as they occupied the two empty seats in front of Nadia and Hermione.
Nadia sent the boys an apologetic smile before returning to her note-taking. Harry returned a sheepish smile and began taking out his equipment whilst Professor McGonagall paced the classroom.
From the back of the room, Draco watched the exchange with dark eyes and clenched fists. He didn't know why he cared so much. It was just a smile, after all. But, to him, it seemed more than that. Also, it didn't help that Draco was still fuming at Harry for rejecting his alliance but this wasn't just petty anger.
This was jealousy.
Although, Draco would never admit that. He was a Malfoy and Malfoys don't get jealous. He let out a quiet scoff and turned his attention back to his quill and parchment.
Transfiguration passed like a sloth but next was Potions. Nadia was excited, however, also nervous as the class was taught by Head of Slytherin house: Professor Snape. She hadn't heard many good things about the man.
