"So, did you and Ginny do it?" Harry jumped at Nadia's question, his cheeks heating up rapidly.

"Do what?" He replied, rubbing the back of his neck.

Nadia rolled her eyes. "You really are dim." She sighed, earning a look from Harry. "Did you get rid of the book?"

"Oh. Yeah. We did." He sputtered slowly.

Nadia eyed him for a second. It was obvious that something was going on but she decided not to press it. Instead, she asked, "Still no luck with Slughorn then?"

"You can say that again." Harry huffed but then he stopped in his tracks, a mischievous look in his eye. Nadia knew that look all too well.

"Oh no. What?" She groaned.

"Luck. That's exactly what I need. C'mon!" He yelled, racing down the corridor.

"Harry Potter, you will be the death of me one day." Nadia muttered before racing after the bespectacled boy.

"Well? How do you feel?" Hermione questioned cautiously.

Harry beamed, the empty vial of Felix Felicis clutched in his hand. "Excellent. Really excellent."

"Now, remember, Slughorn usually eats early, takes a short walk and then returns to his office." Hermione explained.

"Right." Harry agreed, a wide grin still stretched across his face. "I'm going down to Hagrid's."

Nadia's eyebrows furrowed. "What? No, Harry." She groaned. "You have to go and see Slughorn. We have a plan--"

"I know but I've got a really good feeling about Hagrid's. I feel like it's the place to be tonight." Harry reasoned. "Do you know what I mean?"

Hermione, Nadia and Ron all shared a look before saying in unison, "No."

"Trust me, I know what I'm doing. Or at least, Felix does!" Harry chirped before turning on his heel and exclaiming a "Hi!" at his fellow Gryffindors as he exited the common room.

Nadia rubbed her temples. "His brain is fried."

"I'm sure it's not--" Hermione chuckled nervously but Ron cut her off.

"Nadia has a point. He was acting a little..." Ron trailed off, trying to find the right word to describe Harry's bubbly demeanour.

"Drugged-up." Hermione finished for him, gaining curious looks from the pair. "He wasn't in his right mind." Hermions clarified for the pureblooded wizards.

"That's for certain." Nadia mumbled. "Anyway, I guess we just have to wait now."

"That we do." Ron said, leaning back into the couch.

The trio ended up falling asleep strewn all over the red and gold couches by the fire.

Harry didn't return until very early morning, confused as to why his best friends never went to bed.

He gently shook them all as their eyes fluttered open and yawns tumbled from their mouths. "Morning." He smiled.
