Somehow, Gohan has traveled to Konohagakure during the time of Boruto. Will he live there forever? Can he find a way back? (This isn't a random story, it follows the show a lot)

Gohan walked upon destruction. About a fourth of the Leaf Village was destroyed from the Otsutsuki invasion. The Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzimaki, was dead.
Tents were set up and the wounded were being treated.
Tak tak tak tak
Gohan looked up.
Bmf!
Boruto was running and bumped into Gohan. Gohan stared at the boy. Boruto ripped something off his arm. It was the scientific ninja tool he used during the Chunin Exams.
"Boruto-" Gohan started.
"It's all my fault!" cried Boruto, "all because I couldn't use my own power. All because I used this stupid thing!"
He threw the Scientific Ninja tool to the side.
Gohan tried to comfort Boruto. He put a hand on his friend's shoulder, "I know how you feel Boruto. You lost your father and think it's your fault."
Gohan paused for a moment.

He remembered his battle with Cell. His dad, Son Goku, died because Gohan was cocky and did not finish the enemy when he had the chance.
Gohan continued, "I too lost my father once, and it was because of my arrogance. But you can't let this bring you down! The thing is-"
Boruto slapped Gohan's hand off his shoulder, "Don't try to make me feel better Gohan. I know the mistakes I've made, and I'll never be able to make up for them. My dad is dead, so is your's. We're both bad people because we let them down."
Boruto ran away with only the feelings of guilt consuming him.

Gohan looked at his friend leave. Those last words made Gohan uncomfortable. He looked into the dark sky.
Father, do you really forgive me for letting you die? thought Gohan.

After a while, Gohan made his way to find Boruto. He had to help his friend some how. His search led him to the Hokage mansion. This side of the village was empty since everyone was on the other side helping out.

Gohan sensed Boruto' s energy here, but he also noticed five other people. Still outside, Gohan jumped to the window of the Hokage's desk office. He peeked inside. There, Gohan saw Boruto wearing an old orange sweater and Sarada's dad, Sasuke Uchiha. Behind them stood the other 4 Kage. Gohan overheard that they were going to save the Hokage. Naruto was still alive.
Sasuke looked at the window. Gohan ducked.
"Son Gohan, there is no need to hide. I know you're out there," said Sasuke.
Gohan was embarrassed. He jumped into the room.
"Gohan?! What are you doing here?," asked Boruto.
"I came here to talk to you, but it seems the Hokage is alive," replied Gohan.
Gohan thought for a second. He remembered the Otsutsuki that stole his powers earlier. If any shinobi faced him, they would be outmatched. The enemy had the power of a super saiyan.
"Uchiha Sasuke...Let me come with you guys. I want to help too," said Gohan.
Sasuke stared at Gohan, "Son Gohan, you are an interesting shinobi. I would hate to see what would happen if the Otsutsuki captured you. Stay here for now."
Did Sasuke know what that Gohan was a saiyan? Gohan looked down, "ok."
The thing was...the Otsutsuki already had his power.

Once the village was informed of the rescue mission, everyone gathered around the Hokage mansion. Sarada and Shikadai also wanted to go, but they were denied.
A portal opened.

"With this rinnegan the number of shinobi i can send after them is limited," announced Sasuke.
"Considering our present battle strength... this is the best we can do for now. Take care of Naruto," said Shikamaru.
The 4 Kage entered the portal.
Boruto's mom, Hinata, came in a rush when she heard that Boruto was going.
"Boruto!" shouted Hinata.
Boruto turned and gave her a smile. He tightened the headband around his head and smiled. For some reason, his expression was very powerful to Gohan.

"You're finally carrying yourself like a shinobi," commented Sasuke, "let's go!"
Sasuke jumped into the portal.
Boruto looked to his friends, "Sarada, Mitsuki, Gohan! Take care of everyone!"
He jumped into the portal. As it was closing, Gohan noticed two people rushing for the portal. It was Katasuke and his assistant.
It was now or never. Gohan also wanted to go. He followed after the two.
The last words he heard were his friends' shouts of his name.
