Their swords collided. Trunks and Dabura glared into each other's eyes, both trying to find a weakness in their opponent. Dabura was physically stronger, but Trunks had superior swordsmanship. They were evenly matched.
He's weaker than me. I'll just beat him down with my fist! thought Dabura. On his next swing, he spun and chopped at Trunks's sword.
Unable to react in time, Trunks held his sword firmly and let it take the impact.

Both swords broke in half.
Knowing he was weaker, Trunks acted quickly. He would not let Dabura get the advantage. Trunks dropped his broken sword and drove his fist into Dabura's face.

Dazed by the punch, Dabura watched as Trunks moved his hands in a specific pattern. With each thrust of the hand, the half-saiyan was gathering more ki.
"Burning attack!" Trunks blasted the ball of energy at Dabura.

Dabura roared and smacked the blast to the side. It exploded into the ground. BOOM!
No doubt, this guy's stronger than Cell, thought Trunks. He readied himself for the next attack.
Dabura quickly flew forward and punched Trunks. Although the hit was blocked, the impact sent Trunks sliding back.
"Master Bibidi said you saiyans were strong, but I'm disappointed," said Dabura. "I'll deal with you quickly, and then you and your friend can say goodbye to your lives."
Trunks clenched his fist tightly. If I can't defeat this guy, then how can I protect my future? He was determined not to lose.
