The next day arrived, they had been stuck in the past for a while now. There were still no signs of Urashiki. Boruto continued his training with Jiraiya. Kid Goku went looking around to find Sumire. Meanwhile, Gohan walked the streets of the old Leaf Village in deep thought.

"Big brother let's play tag!" shouted a boy.

Gohan looked over at the two boys chasing each other. They laughed as they twisted and turned.

Big brother... It reminded Gohan of Goten. Goten hadn't grown up yet. He wondered how he was doing back at home. Without dad, it was Gohan's job to help raise his younger brother. He had to get home soon, or else it would be too late to be a part of Goten's life.

He turned the corner.

"Alright! Let's go show big bro Naruto what we've learned!" shouted a young Konohamaru.

"But, do you really think we're ready?" asked Udon.

"Of course! If we all work together, there's nothing we can't do. Naruto will definitely be impressed."

"If you say so Konohamaru, I'll believe too!" shouted Moegi in agreement.

Konohamaru and his ninja gang ran to find their master.

Gohan frowned. Such confidence in their friendship made Gohan remember about his own. There was a heavy feeling in his heart. He stepped into one of the alleys and sat down. 

"What are you doing here?"

Gohan looked to the right. It was Naruto. "Me? What are you doing here?"

"I don't want to see Konohamaru right now. He just wants to show me some funky jutsu," said Naruto. He noticed the look on Gohan's face. "Is something wrong?"

"I'm fine..." replied Gohan.

"Come on! I know that look. What's bothering you?" Naruto sat down next to Gohan.

"It's complicated."
