          STAN POV:

It was almost as if I couldn't control my actions, like my mind was locked, and my heart was set, the moment I started sprinted as fast as I could towards the unmoving Kyle, there was no stopping me. I was unstoppable.

I wasn't thinking of how I could die, I wasn't thinking of how hurt I could become. All those thoughts were placed on me of Kyle.

I bolted forward running as quick as I ever had in my entire life, my eyes sized down, the wind slapping me in the face. Almost as if I was the Flash.

As soon as I hit the street, I couldn't steer myself away. The ice of the road made contact under my Converse and I slid across the ice towards Kyle. I reached out my hands, pushing him hard on his shoulder.

His arms flailed, and he screamed, looking back at me as he crashed onto the other bank of the street, knocking his head on the concrete. His eyes shut, rolling back into his head. At least he was safe.

I guess I didn't think of how I would get out of there. I tried picking up my feet, and running off to the embankment were Kyle was lying silently. But the ice wouldn't let me move. I turned my head away from Kyle to the sidewalk from where my friends were running from. But I couldn't move, their frantic faces, their looks of concern.

I saw them actually caring about something, before I rotated my head straight in front of me, and watched the yellow eyes, shine across my body, before the machine of metal collided with me.
