"everyone proceed to the auditorium! bring a pen to write the club of your choice after the program!" the teacher called out.

one by one, we all started walking out of the classroom and forming our lines. i searched for yujin and held her hand the moment i found her among the crowd of students.

"stay beside me~" i pleaded.

"i will, just behave or else the teacher might separate us both when she sees us together." yujin reminded.

"yes yes..." i nodded while starting to face forward as the line was starting to move.

the moment we reached the big auditorium, everyone started settling down on their seats. when yujin and i sat down, i immediately started looking around the place, noticing that the performers were in one corner preparing themselves.

"soo yi-ah, why aren't you performing with the singing club?" yujin suddenly asked me.

"oh. it's because they have a duet prepared this time." i explained.

yujin nodded and quickly looked away, anticipating the program.

"omo! isn't that son hyunwoo? look!" yujin whisper-shouted, hurriedly tapping onto my arm the moment she saw him.

i automatically shot my eyes to the direction where yujin was facing. there, i caught sight of hyunwoo coming down from the side of the stage. at that moment, my heart started racing.

"oh my gosh... yujin-ah.." i gasped.

he was wearing a burgundy red suit, and his hair was neatly styled. he looked extremely dashing, and it made it impossible for me not to crush on him even harder.

"can't deny, but he looks sooo good." yujin shot two thumbs up in approval.

"what kind of dance would he be doing?" i asked.

"i heard from his dancemates that they would be dancing hiphop." yujin said.

"ah... right. dancemates." i suddenly got reminded.

i looked around the area where hyunwoo was, and after a minute, i eventually found jooheon who was casually practicing his moves at the side.

just like hyunwoo, he was wearing the same attire.

suddenly, minhyuk came out of nowhere, walked right infront of him and blocked my view of jooheon as he drank his water.

"aish..." i unconsciously reacted a bit too loud.

yujin immediately heard and got startled.

"what was that?" she asked.

"... uhm nothing." i pursed my lips together and tried to regain control of myself.

i tried to shift my attention back to the dancers, and the moment my eyes got back to them, i suddenly noticed minhyuk staring at my direction.

i got flustered, and quickly looked away. i felt conscious of myself, and started looking around me before looking back at him.

"what is this guy looking at..." i murmured to myself as i noticed minhyuk not taking his eyes off me.

suddenly, i heard girl voices right behind my back.

"hwang jisoo, minhyuk seems to be looking at you from afar." jisoo's friend pointed out.

"yeah, i noticed. don't mind him." jisoo spoke.

i quickly looked at minhyuk once again, and this time, he took his eyes away from our direction. i sighed as i totally mistook him for staring at me when jisoo's literally right behind me.
