jooheon, minhyuk, yujin, and i were now eating some ice cream together at the cafeteria. the cafeteria was a little less crowded because some games were ongoing, but there were still parents and outsiders present eating their food as well.

"ahhh, this is just what i need after that basketball game." jooheon expressed.

"help yourself, mvp." minhyuk teased which made jooheon smile.

i looked at yujin beside me and noticed that she was looking around the place so much. so, i slightly began to nudge her to get attention.

"what are you doing?" i asked her.

yujin eventually looked at me like she'd been caught. but then, she suddenly broke into a cheeky smile.

"i'm watching out for some handsome outsiders." she confessed while giggling.

"aigoo.." i shook my head at her and looked away.

"yah jooheon-ah, i'm on my second ice cream. eat faster or it will all melt." minhyuk suddenly quickened up his pace and pressured jooheon to do so.

"oh, wait-!" jooheon quickly devoured the remaining half of his ice cream on the stick and reached out for his second one to keep up with minhyuk.

"agh! colddd!" jooheon's face grimaced, trying to endure his numbing tongue.

i looked at minhyuk and jooheon in a disgusted manner. such greedy individuals like them just had to buy three ice creams to satisfy themselves in this hot weather.

"you didn't have to buy all three at once, you two!"

"well... i have no regrets." minhyuk shot me a blank face and shoved the second ice cream into his mouth.

the four of us currently had free time because our batch had no games where we could cheer yet, so we decided to watch the women's softball game of the 9th grade versus the 11th grade.

"soo yi-ah." minhyuk suddenly called my name so i immediately turned my head to face him.

"hmm?" i hummed in response.

"you know.. the exam week is coming right after the sportsfest week.." minhyuk started.

"what about it?" i asked.

i looked at minhyuk swallowing hard and looking around us first before shooting his question.

"uhm, would you mind if we study together?" he asked.

i looked straight into his eyes and noticed how they kind of trembled. out of the blue, it made me think minhyuk was being cute.

"of course not." i smiled.

minhyuk's eyes suddenly widened in joy.

"really? i can ask you out on a study date?" he asked, feeling great relief.

"yeah, just make sure we're going to be productive." i pointed a finger at him as a warning.

"haha, yes i promise! don't get me wrong, i just needed to improve on my english grades and i thought you would be of big help.." minhyuk swayed his body a bit.

"sure, whatever." i tilted my head at him and released a light chuckle afterwards.

i looked to my left and finally saw yujin and jooheon coming towards us while holding a big cup of french fries for us to share.
