i walked out of the restroom cubicle and proceeded to wash my hands feeling worried and disappointment of what had happened between minhyuk and moonbin.

it stuck throughout my head despite our ongoing graduation practices. they were sent to the office and they still haven't come back.

"excuse me." i suddenly heard a familiar voice snap me out of my thoughts.

soon, i looked to the side and automatically made way for the person before even realizing who it actually was.

there, hwang jisoo stood taking up my space to wash her hands as well.

i quickly looked away and dried my hands so that i could leave the restroom a bit sooner. i didn't wanna give some chance to the awkward air between us to grow and fill up the entire room.

"you saw that clearly, didn't you?" i suddenly heard her speak.

i looked at her and she slowly turned her body to face me.

"minhyuk and moonbin were fighting over me." she added.

i stared at her in disbelief. was it something to brag about? was she happy getting those two guys in trouble?

"if minhyuk didn't have any feelings for me, he wouldn't have done that."

hearing those words, flashbacks of minhyuk leaving me behind back at the tteokbokki place came into mind. it shattered my heart into pieces, but i knew i shouldn't be vulnerable in front of jisoo.

not ever.

"what did you tell minhyuk to get him to do that to moonbin?" i asked.

"oh, i didn't say anything. what are you trying to make out of me?" jisoo rolled her eyes.

"i'm leaving, there's no sense talking to you." i started making my way towards the door.

"what did you say? aren't you a petty one?"

i stopped on my tracks and turned back to glare at her.

"for the record, fine. i did lie to minhyuk, soo yi-ah. i just apparently wanted to get my revenge on moonbin and he went off and did it for me." she crossed her arms and got serious.

"how dare you-"

"but at the same time, i just proved how he's still the same. he didn't even bother giving it a second thought. he took my side immediately and got himself in trouble. clearly, you should know what this means now." jisoo took a few steps closer towards me.

"while i'm still here, don't even think of getting your hopes up with minhyuk." she smirked.

Lee Minhyuk

"i told you, i didn't spread any scandal about jisoo." moonbin denied.

i scoffed and went ahead to take my phone out of my pocket.

"and what do you call this?" i flashed the screen of my phone containing screenshots of his groupchat where he talked badly about jisoo and spread dirty lies behind her back.

i showed the disciplinary officer as well to prove my point.

"where did you get those?" moonbin asked.

"from jisoo herself, she's smarter than you think. you probably thought you'd get away with this, huh?"

without any words, moonbin fished his phone out of his pocket and began looking for the groupchat shown in my screenshots.
