Jung Soo Yi
yujin and i passed by the other grade 12 classrooms together when all of a sudden, jooheon walked right infront of us while wearing just a white shirt and his burgundy red pants.
"hi, soo yi!" he widely smiled.
"woah, jooheon-ah? haha, what's wrong with you?" i chuckled at him, a bit startled.
"ah, i was in the process of changing my clothes when i saw you outside our classroom's window. that's why i rushed here." he said.
"you should just go change instead, i will be going home anyway--"
"but first! how was our performance?" he was eager to ask.
"you did great. i saw you, and it looked as if you really practiced hard." i complimented him.
"you sure your eyes were fixed on me? or on someone else?" he raised his eyebrow and flashed a smirk at me.
my mouth slightly opened, and out of the blue, minhyuk's figure popped up behind jooheon.
"lee jooheon! what do we have here?" minhyuk wrapped his arm around the shoulders of his pal.
yujin and i simply looked at the both of them in silence. eventually, minhyuk noticed me.
"oh... wait, let me go talk to jisoo first." minhyuk said while letting go of jooheon.
"wait, where is she?" jooheon asked.
"she's coming. stay here." minhyuk smirked.
my attention came back towards jooheon and yujin. i began to realize that i haven't introduced them to each other just yet.
"ah, right. this is my friend, yujin. i forgot to introduce you both to each other." i told jooheon.
"nice to meet you, yujin-ssi." jooheon nodded and smiled at yujin warmly.
"same here." yujin smiled back.
"so tell me, yujin. did soo yi here watch me closely? or were her eyes fixed on another guy?" jooheon teased.
"haha, i'll be dead if i told you the truth, jooheon-ssi." yujin giggled.
"yah! keep quiet yujin-ah.." i tried to place my hand on top of my friend's mouth.
"indeed, i knew you would be watching hyunwoo. next time, pay your attention to me, would you?" jooheon told me.
i got flustered by his words that i didn't know how to react.
"hwang jisoo!" i heard minhyuk's voice call her out from behind.
yujin, jooheon, and i turned to look at them this time. i didn't exactly know why but it didn't feel right to have minhyuk talk to jisoo. i know i should be minding my own business, though.
"what is it this time?" hwa jisoo spoke coldly to minhyuk.
"i just wanted to ask what you thought of our dance performance..." minhyuk said in a weak voice.
jisoo looked at him with piercing eyes.
"hey. you don't dance as well as moonbin does. and who are you to ask me anyway? don't tell me you were thinking i would still be looking at you during your stages?" jisoo shot at him.
"jisoo-yah.." minhyuk was at loss for words.
those words were painful to hear. minhyuk seemed like a guy who was a pain in the butt, however, he was someone head over heels for this one girl who didn't appreciate him at all.
