"hello! we are from the humanities and social sciences strand! to spice up this year's valentine's and academy day, we will be introducing to you this love letter box!"

our research class was currently interrupted by these students who were doing door to door presentations in front of us.

since our final exams were over, all we had to accomplish now were our projects and research paper. i'm glad that we were given all the time to finalize those things with the remaining time we have before graduating.

"ta-da! this box will be receiving your anonymous love letters to your crush or to anyone you wanted to send a letter to!" the speaker in front showed.

"if you're bold enough, you can even write your name in the letter you will be dropping here. just make sure to indicate the name of the receiver, and we students will be the ones to deliver your special letters on valentine's day!"

i smiled to myself upon seeing that box again. last year, yujin and i wrote ourselves love letters so that we had something to receive at least.

it was funny, that's what we thought.

my eyes slowly drifted towards shownu who was seated at the front. i  never had the courage to send him a letter despite him getting tons of them. i always thought that it would be risky and that he would find out right away despite him having lots of admirers already.

well... i think i'm surely not gonna send him a letter again this year.

i'm a total chicken and i know i should at least try because we were graduating, but i couldn't always get myself to do so.

all of a sudden, minhyuk and jooheon randomly popped up into my mind.

would they actually consider writing someone letters, too? if so, to whom?

would minhyuk actually send hwang jisoo one?

unconsciously, i suddenly found myself pouting.

"aigoo.. snap out of it, jung soo yi." i instantly shook my head upon realizing that my thoughts about minhyuk and jisoo were getting deeper.

"heol... i'm not actually affected by them, am i?" i mentally gasped.

i quickly hit my head with my own fist, but i accidentally did it so hard that my seatmates got startled about what i was doing.

"yah! is your head okay?" my seatmate asked, eyes shot wide open in surprise.

i awkwardly laughed beside her as i rubbed on the painful spot.

"ahaha.. yeah, i'm fine." i nodded and smiled at her, trying to look away to divert the attention away from me.

however, as soon as i faced my head back in front, i suddenly met shownu's eyes. he had already turned back and witnessed my little crazy moment.

out of the blue, he suddenly smiled at me before turning back in front.

i silently gasped upon realizing what just happened. in shame, i immediately covered my now blushing face and lowered my head down to hide myself in my arms.

looks like the butterflies in my stomach were going crazy again.
