i rushed back to the cafeteria and stormed my way in the men's restroom without any care for what the other students would think.

"lee minhyuk!! where are you?" i called as my made my way in.

"what the heck, lady!" one called out in surprise.

"yah! this is the men's rest-" another one tried to stop me as well.

"get lost!!" i yelled at the top of my lungs and caught them off guard.

"aish, l-let's go..." the two guys left, afraid to deal with me.

i watched them out and immediately locked the door behind me. seeing that i was now alone inside, i slowly took a few steps as my heart has calmed down.

"minhyuk-ah, it's me. it's only the two of us here now." i spoke.

i patiently waited for a few minutes but i didn't get any response. finally gaining courage, i opened the cubicle doors one by one to get minhyuk out.

upon finally getting to the last cubicle, i was met with disappointment as there were no signs of minhyuk.

"what the... he's not here anymore? was i too late..?" i spoke to myself upon realizing that minhyuk was no longer to be found inside the cubicles.

i ran my fingers through my hair in frustration and went ahead to unlock the restroom door so i could go out and continue searching for minhyuk in the school.

the moment i opened the door, i immediately flinched and took a step back upon seeing shownu standing right in front of me.

"shownu-yah.." my eyes widened in surprise.

shownu immediately looked at the men's restroom sign on the door and looked at me firmly.

"what were you thinking? why did you go in here?" he asked.

"what about the graduation practice? i told you to take charge because i was leaving to look for minhyuk."

suddenly, shownu gently grabbed my wrist.

"i came to take you here. let's go back." he spoke.

"no, please. i really need to talk to minhyuk." i pleaded and pulled back, removing his hand from me.

he looked at me, his eyes were expressing hurt in the most subtle manner.

"i-i'm sorry. you go back ahead." i lowered my head and walked past shownu leaving him behind.

i walked fast and far away from him to avoid having to face him again and getting dragged back to practice. i was focused on finding minhyuk to talk to him about what i had heard.

i didn't know where my legs were taking me anymore as i got too deeply lost in my thoughts until i suddenly found myself in the school's playground. i quickly looked around me, and to my surprise, i finally found minhyuk seated alone on a swing.

"minhyuk-ah!" i called his name and rushed in front of him immediately.

the moment i finally stood in front of him, i noticed his slightly swollen face and gloomy expression. that's when i took caution to be gentle towards him.

"i've been searching for you..." i spoke in a low voice.

"i know what happened. i overheard it from some of the boys." i told him honestly.

minhyuk kept his head down low, avoiding to meet my eyes. i could tell he was disappointed, frustrated, and embarrased of himself. although i was frustrated at him too, i wanted to comfort him badly because i know he needed it at the very moment.
