https://www.poemsearcher.com/topic/goddess#&gid=1&pid=6  is were i got the poem that i used for the blessing ceremony. i changed it slightly but only a few lines. the poem will be at the top.

I wake to Nana yelling my name. I groan as I pick myself up off the balcony and walk into the bedroom that no longer feels like home.

"Why are you yelling" I groan as I walk up to her

"I thought you were gone again" she exclaims throwing her arms around me and I stiffened at the sudden contact. Resisting the urge to push her away.

"To much work" I simply state before following her down to the dinning hall where father was waiting for us. Everyone else joined us not long after. Well everyone but mother.

We all had a large breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, leftover chicken put into a nice chicken soup, and a glass of your choice of drink. I choose water cause it is more practical. The others had a range of drinks between wine and simple milk. Well except Obi who had hard whiskey because he's strange like that.

"So what are we doing today" I directed my question to nobody in particular.

"You will be taken to get the Moon Goddesses blessing" Nana states like i should have known all along what was happening today.

"You will be blessed as my child no matter what. If that can't be then you will be blessed as an Omega" Father adds and I just nod my head. It makes sense for me to be blessed as an Omega.

"An adult has never been blessed before. Let us hope the Moon Goddess is forgiving and gives her blessing" Nana says concern written all over her face.

"I will be fine. I've made it this far "I simply wave off her concern.

I could care less if i get the blessing or not but it is a major part of Misuto tradition and whether I like it or not, I am one of the Misuto. Though not one who proudly supports my country like most. If i wasn't royalty then i would be dead by now.

"Right let's get to it" father claps his hands together startling a few people and I stifle a laugh as everyone gets up.

I trail behind Nana the others not far behind, as we make our way to the shrine of the moon goddess. The shrine was the size of an average church, pure black with flecks of white to signify stars. The inside is pure white with pictures of the moon goddess and her five children who are the ancestors of all wolf kind. Each was given a gift from their mother before descending from the heavens to live out their days on earth.

Luna the Moon Goddesses only daughter and the youngest, was given the gift of foresight.

Firefly the oldest son was given the gift to talk to animals.

Dazzle the second oldest was given the gift of telepathy.

Cozmo was given the gift of invisibility.

Comet the youngest son was given the gift of gravity.

The gifts were passed down to children. It is rare that a child is born with such a gift and when they are discovered they are taken care of as if they themselves are from the royal family. The gifted children are branded as such by the Moon Goddess with a phase of the moon pattern in their wolves fur.

I myself have one of these rare gifts but mother demanded it be kept secret. The gifts are given the night of your first shift and mother used my inability to shift to keep me quiet. Not that it mattered considering that I wasn't around long enough to tell anyone.
