Chaper 34

I can't help but notice the smirk on Zen's face as we approach them in the lobby of the inn. Everyone is wearing their usual attire aside from Izana who's cloak I am currently using.

"How are you doing Miss. Alex?" Obi asks as we finally join up with them.

"I've been better that's for sure," I said with a smirk. Amusement flickers across his face at my statement.

"Are you sure your well enough to travel?" Izana askes

"It was only a stab wound." I say "Not a very big one either" I brush off the topic as we begin to make our way outside. "Would you like your cloak back?" I ask as the crisp air hits my face.

"You keep it, you need it more than me" he simply says as I fell into step beside him as we follow the others.

The streets are filled with people milling about and as we turned onto the main street I caught a glimpse of a familiar figure with blonde hair and hazel eyes, 6 ft tall and as skinny as the last time i've seen him if not thinner. Excitement and happiness etch themselves into my features before I attempt to run after his retreating form as he enters the endless thong of people. Weaving through the people i finally catch up to him and without so much as a sound I jump up and wrap my arms around his neck in a failed attempt at a surprise hug from behind. He jumps letting out a sound somewhere between a littler girls squeal and a shout, resulting in me breaking out in a fit of laughter. Ignoring the small aching pain that starts to begin in my side from laughing too hard and running around to catch up to him.

"You haven't changed much Yukio" I laugh out as he swings around to face me.

"Alex!? It's been what 5 years since ive seen you!!" Yukio exclaims as he wraps his arms around me in a bear hug making a whimper involuntarily escaped my lips as pain shoots up my side from the crushing embrace. "I must say your fashion sense has flown out the window" he says as he puts me down.

"Alex are you alright??" Shirayuki asks as she spins me around. "Has your wound reopened again!!?" she frantically asks as she lifts my borrowed shirt just enough to expose the bandage before sighing in relief because it hasn't reopened.

"And who might this be" Yukio excalims with what he claims is his charming smile.

"These" I began motioning to the others who are now right behind me. "Are my companions. Shirayuki, Kiki, Izana, Zen, Obi, and Mitsuhide.'' I introduce them all gesturing to each of them as i announced their names.

"Pleased to meet you all. My name is Yukio." he introduces

"Is Yuno Also here!?" I ask

"Of course we go everywhere together" Yukio states with a mischievous grin. "I was actually on my way to fetch him, we planned to have dinner in about 20 minuites at one of the best restaurants in town. Care to join?" he asks

"Why not" It was Izana who answered.

"Lead on" I simply say as i fall back in step with Izana

After picking up Yuno who also crushed me in a hug much to Shirayuki's displeasure, we made our way to a small restaurant that has a sign hanging above the door reading Wolf & Wane. As we enter the restaurant I get the feeling that it is more of a pub than a restaurant. The room was cluttered with worn tables and chairs in any available space with just enough room to walk between the tables. But the place was packed non the less which was surprising.

"Dolly!!" Yuno shouts out and a young brunette with green eyes wastes no time in making her way over to us.

"Boys" she simply says before leading all of us to a table set up behind the restaurant. "Who are your friends?" she asks as Yukio takes a seat.
