Once I make it to the hotel, I run a hot bath and tear off the clothing I was in, only to be greeted by fresh trickles of blood as I carelessly strip myself of the bandage and plop myself into the hot water. My blood tainting the water with a pinkish hue as I submerge as much of my body as I possibly can.
When I eventually get out of the now lukewarm water my body has reddened slightly from the intense heat that I was submerged in for who knows how long. Instead of getting dressed and curling up in one of the beds on the other side of the door, I open the door a crack before shifting into wolf form. Knowing that Shirayuki can still look at the wound and I wouldn't have to talk to anybody.
As I push the door open, I am greeted by everyone sitting in the room. Yuno and Zen are immersed in a conversation, Shirayuki is talking to Dolly and Kiki. The others are just silently sitting around, no doubt waiting for me to emerge from the washroom. I let out a huff and the room falls earie quiet, as all eyes are instantly on me.
"WHAT IS THAT" Yukio shouts and Yuno has terror written all over his features as he takes in my large wolf form.
"Alex!" Shirayuki is at my side in an instant and gets to work looking at my wound and when she goes to bandage it, I simply walk away and lay under the window.
"I think she's upset" Dolly says as she takes in my appearance.
"When were you going to tell us, you could change into a wolf!!" Yuno states
"Yeah Nana and Papa could have helped find your family if you told us this information" Yukio states and is instantly answered by a low threatening growl from yours truly.
"She only just found out herself" Zen says
"But aren't shifter folk supposed to have their first shift in their childhood?" Yukio asks bewildered as he scans my body.
"She was a special case" Izana states as his eyes meet mine and I let out a low grumble.
I stand up just long enough to turn around before plopping back down onto the ground. Finding the wall interesting in place of his beautiful blue eyes.
"We can't stay long. Shirayuki is Alex well enough to travel?" Mitsuhide voice reaches my ears.
"Not in the form she is currently in. She would have to ride with some help. I fear she may not have enough strength to ride alone." Shirayuki responds cautiously, knowing I can hear her.
"Why can't you stay?" Yuno asks "you've just arrived today. We would very much like to spend more time with Alex" he adds hurt and confusion laced with his words.
"Yeah what's the hurry" Yukio states with a bit of anger.
I let out a low groan as I pick myself up and make my way over to the boys. Hoisting myself up onto the bed they are sitting on. Knocking Yuno off in the process as my massive form shakes the bed. I lay my head on Yukio's lap as Yuno picks himself up off the floor.
"We have pressing matters to attend to" Izana states gruffly and I let out a huff at his lame excuse.
"Well you could leave her here and we could care for her till she is fit for travel." Dolly pipes up as Yuno runs his fingers carefully through my fur.
"I don't think so" Izana states hotly and this angers me.
Without warning I revert to human form not caring that I am currently as naked as the day I was born. Startling everyone in the room, luckily Kiki acted fast and threw one of the scratchy blankets over me.
"Who died and made you master of my life. If I wish to stay you can't force me to go with you" I growl out and roll off the bed, once again knocking Yuno off. This time the front of the bed as I fall to the side. "You are starting to sound like I am one of your damn servants and if that's how you view me then I have the right mind to leave you all together" I basically shout the last part and the room grows silent.
Kiki tosses me some clothing and I begrudgingly head into the washroom to slip on the clothing before returning. I grab my pack that was tossed to the side. Stuffing my ripped clothing inside and talking out a few coins, tossing three silver and a gold at Kiki and 3 silver and 2 gold at Izana. Before slipping on the cloak I received from the moon god, zipping up my pack and slinging it onto my back. I strap my belt and daggers to my hip.
"You can't control me" I growl mainly at Izana before slipping on my boots and walking out the door.
(Yukio's POV)
The door slams behind Alex as she storms out of the room. The thin walls of the inn shaking from the violent impact. Her temper getting to her like it would when we were children, but this time seems different. I can tell that she cares deeply for this group of people even if she won't admit it.
"You've angered her" Yuno states from his position on the floor.
"She's a hard person to anger." I add
"Let her cool off. She's not a person you want to be on the wrong side of, especially now that she is a shifter." Yuno states as he rests his head on the bedframe.
"You should know better than trying to cage that girl" the one known as Obi states as he moves to look out the window.
"let's get some rest, we can figure out what to do in the morning" Shirayuki states before shooing all the boys and Dolly out of the room.
"You can find her in the forest." I say to Izana before heading off to my home.
Sooo I may or may not have forgotten about Shep so i might go back and add him into the chapter(s) he is suppose to be in or i might make it so he was left in Misuto by his choice i haven't decided yet. I also want to read the whole story and maybe fix up some of the chapters but im undecided at the moment.
I would have updated earlier but I've had little time to do so. Plus my little sister decided to move out about a week or two ago after screwing with some important shit that shouldn't be taken lightly and shes just being a very annoying person at the moment. and my big brother got kicked out for lack of a job and not helping around the house and smoking in his room when this is a none smoking place.
My nieces birthday party was yesterday and there was about 15 kids and about 30ish people at my house and i was soooo dieing. it was super loud and crazy...and they were here for 4 frickin hours. she just turned 7
