Short but its something.
I am awoken by the sound of wolves howling in the forest, instantly i'm on my feet. Pushing Izana aside before taking on my wolf form. The wolves seem to have come from the north and not the west where the castle resides. I curse my bad luck and harshly nudge Izana awake.
He wakes with a start confused for a few moments before taking in the fact that i'm in wolf form, hackles raised and tense. I let out a low warning growl as Izana places his hand on my left shoulder. I spare a glance at him and in that small moment 5 wolves entered the clearing.
Without hesitation izana swings up onto my back, having to pull himself up with my fur. I let out a ferocious growl before dashing back the way we came the night before, all 5 wolves in pursuit. Without hesitation I leapt over the cliff once more stumbling slightly as my paws hit solid ground once more. Ignoring the flaring pain that shot up my right foreleg from the impact, as I make a mad dash in the direction of the caste the wolves hot on my tail.
As soon as the castle comes into view I make for the main gates. As soon as we come in sight of the gates the guards react instantly not because they recognise me or because of the wolves chasing us but because of the mark on my chest.
As soon as I make it to the gate I throw izana to the ground, he takes fists of my fur with him as he is flung onto the grass suddenly. As soon as he hits the ground i dig my claws into the soft dirt allowing my momentum to drag me around before joining the fight with the rouges accompanied by 4 more guard.
With the guards in the fight the 5 wolves surrender without much of a fight. They obtain their human forms before being chained and lead to the castle jail for sentencing. All while i also change back and run over to izana who is sitting in the same spot he landed.
"Are you alright??" i ask as i offer him my hand to help him up
"Ive been better:" he sarcastically says as he accepts my gesture wincing as is pull him to his feet
"Lets have Shirayuki look at you" i say before leading him inside and to find shirayuki. We find her in the library with Sakura reading medical books in one of the corners. "Shirayuki could you look at Izana i kinda flung him a few feet" I sheepishly say and she's up in seconds without even talking to me she leads Izana to the medical wing leaving Sakura and I, alone in the library.
"Father was looking for you last night, before noticing that you and Prince Izana were missing in action" Sakura says with a amused look
"I can do as I please i wont be locked up because i was born a princess but raised with freedom from such a life." i state as i plop down the chair shirayuki was using and grabing a random book of the closest shelf.
"Just remember the gifted cant mate with humans" She states and i glare at her "I watched the little show you put on earlier and how you sliped by the gaurds unnoticed now they are looking for you" she adds
"Dont you dare day anything about this they will lock me up and ill never be free again" i growl before throwing the book i was going to read against the door before storming out heading for the gardens.
Time skip to night
"I thought id find you here" Zens voice reaches my ears and i look down at him from my perch in an old willow tree that was in the far corner of the garden.
"What do you want" i growl out before sitting up on the branch
"Izana and the others have been looking for you. King Philip is also looking for you" he says and i huff out a breath before droping to the ground and walking to the dining hall with him
