"Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don't."

North's P.O.V

I woke up with a gasp as my face flew forward as I sat up, I froze the moment I noticed I was no longer in that place with Rhys and Jack anymore. Thousands of thoughts ran through my head as I questioned everything I just saw inside my own head. Jack and Rhys weren't just voices inside my mind.

They were real people who simply existed inside my head, people that I could trust with anything considering they were apart of me and probably always will be. I was taking deep breaths and I took in the room around me, I looked around and saw a dark room, completely different from the room when I fell asleep.

I looked down and saw my arms and legs strapped down to an iron table, 'what is this?' I questioned panicked. I yanked at the restraints and felt the familiar burn of silver, but like before, it didn't hurt much. I glared then began to look around, the only light source in the room was a single light hanging from the tall ceiling.

"Where are we North?" I heard Rhys's voice speak in my head clearly just as clueless as I am, "I don't know" I simply answered as I continued to look around. I attempted to pick up familiar sents of my family or at least something to indicate where I am, but I got nothing, at least not anything that stands out.

Suddenly the door opened and someone walked in, my head darted in that direction and I kept a close eye on the person who walked in. I heard a chuckle, "No need to be cautious, friend" he commented circling around the metal table I laid on, "I'm glad you're finally awake, it took Anika quite some time to break that spell".

'Anika'? where have I heard that name, it sounds so familiar, "But then again, she's new at this whole witch thing so it'll take her some time" something about this voice was once again familiar, I recognized it but couldn't put a voice to face. I growled at the man who circled the table, "Who are you?!" I demanded.

He laughed out and clapped his hands, "Perfect!!" he spoke with excitement, "Master said you'd be filled with that fire!" I only growled again, "Answer the damn question!" I spoke letting my anger get the best of me which I didn't mind at all.

"Who are you and where the hell am I!!!?" he chuckled again, "So much anger, so much fire" he mumbled, "You're even more impressive then we predicted" I was getting very annoyed at this point. "Calm down kid" he spoke with a stern voice, "You're in our camp for the time being, until Master needs you of course".

I ran thousands of faces through my head, trying to match his voice up, but nothing, nothing at all. "Maybe you never saw his face..." Jack spoke for the first time making me smile. Then shook took over, "Jack you're a genius!!" I praised making him laugh dryly. He was right, I never saw his face, only heard his voice.

I then smiled at this man and spoke, "How'd you get out?" I questioned, he stopped and then asked, "Get out of where?" humor was laced in his voice, but it's my turn to have the punchline, "Drogo's prison, you said no one could really leave, so how did you?" I could feel the shock on his face.

Then he regained composer, "Clever one aren't you" he commented, "You recognized my voice, your abilities must be very advanced" He stopped again, this time right in front of me. "Since you want to know so bad and I've told to explain the situation, might as well do as I'm told" he spoke stepping forward, out of the shadows.

That's when his scent hit me for the first time, and I was so confused, why is his scent so similar to Miah's? I don't know, then he began to speak walking towards the table, "While you were under that spell, my Master and a few of us ambushed your pack, we were gentle of course, we don't want any bloodshed, at least not yet".

He turned on his heel and walked around the table, "While Anika and my Master fought off the warriors and family, I went to find out and saw you out cold, your scent was so dull I assumed you were dead, but that's when I saw a witch standing over you with a murderous look in her eye" Constance, my heart ached.

"She was a little thing, an easy target, or so I thought" he spoke folding his arms over his chest, "When I charged for you, she flashed a spell my way, each time I went for you, she stopped me" I felt pride, my mate protected me. "But then she went down-" I growled harshly at the statement, I knew Conny wasn't dead, I'd feel it if she was.

"Oh, the little witch is your mate huh?" I growled again making him chuckle, "Fascinating, anyway, Anika knocked the girl out from behind, and then we both took you from the house and brought you here at the order of my Master" He chuckled again darkly, "Your pack tried so hard to stop us, but in the end, they weren't strong enough".

I lunged at him, feeling protective, he jumped back and stared at me with fear then he composed himself once again, "I understand your anger, but you never belonged with them in the first place my friend" He again walked up and stood right in front of me, "You always belonged with us, since the beginning you were one of us".

His voice was filled with pride, "Thankfully Master got you here in time, then we can begin-" he stopped himself and sighed, guess he wasn't supposed to tell me certain things. "Anyway, just be a good Lycan and stay here, for now, Anika will be by later to bring you food and such" he waved his hand as he walked over to the door.

"And to answer your first question-"

"My name is Ajax"
