North's P.O.V
I smiled as I got dressed, I was so happy Nymeria was willing to help me get better and learn to at least control this, I can't keep dealing with this, especially for the rest of my life. After I finished getting dressed, I heard a knock at the door and Nymeria's voice ring inside the room, "We're heading out in a few minutes" she spoke, I nodded to myself and said, "Ok, I'll be out in a minute".
I then heard retreating footsteps, I paused before I left and looked outside the window at the woods, it was so calm and peaceful here, like something bad could ever happen here. I wish my life was as simple as this scenery was, but I know very well that it could never happen.
I sighed heavily and walked out of the room and down the hall, I took my time and looked around this small house, it was very small yet cute. "Come along North, we don't have all day!" Nymeria spoke standing outside of the house with a small smile.
I nodded and joined her, "Let's go," I said and she nodded and we began walking in silence until she spoke up, "From now on, I'm going to need you to be completely honest with me North, tell me whenever you are in pain-Wait!" she spoke stopping me by placing a hand on my chest. "Where is your necklace!?" she spoke panicked.
Suddenly my hand went to my chest where my necklace always was, but as I touched the area, it was not there. "I-I don't know" I spoke very panicked. I have worn that necklace almost every day since it was given to me, it brought me a sense of comfort. "Dear Moon Goddess help me now!" she spoke grabbing my arm and yanking me towards the packhouse.
She began to run and I was struggling to keep up with her fast pace. Then the packhouse suddenly came into view, but that only made Nymeria run faster towards the door and completely throw it open and yank me inside. "MIAH!!!" she screamed making the entire house shake.
Slightly scaring me, suddenly I heard loud footsteps running down the stairs, "Nymeria!" I heard Miah yell in a panicked voice, "How is North doing! is he alright!?" She asked running into the room but before Miah noticed me, Nymeria then asked "Where is his necklace!?" she demanded as if her life depended on it.
Miah looked shocked and slightly scared at Nymeria's frightening tone, "His Necklace? I don't know" Nymeria sighed in frustration and pinched the bridge of her nose, Miah then said to ease the tension in the room, "Klaus may have taken it off when he was knocked out I don't know!" she spoke walking over to me.
She placed a hand on my shoulder and looked at me with kind eyes, "How are you feelings little wolf?" I nodded slowly, "I'm fine now" she looked unsure but still nodded and patted my shoulder, "Why don't you go find Constance, I'll talk with Nymeria" I slowly nodded as I looked over at an angered Nymeria.
But I forced myself to start walking up the stairs and followed my mates sweet sent to my room, I opened the door and saw Conny sleeping peacefully on my bed, her eyes were closed but I saw subtle dark marks under her eyes, I guess she was having trouble sleeping without me. I smiled and walked over.
I sat down right by her and gently touched her shoulder then forehead, "Conny?" I spoke in a quiet tone trying not to alarm her. She stirred a little but didn't move much, I chuckled and gently moved her shoulder, "Conny, wake up" I said calmly. She moved a little and gently opened her eyes.
She looked slowly around the room then her eyes landed on me and they went wide, I smiled at her and she practically jumped up and wrapped her arms around me and held me tightly, I chuckled and hugged her back, "Hello to you too Conny" she laughed and kissed my cheek, "I missed you so much!".
I smiled warmly and pulled away looking into her deep green eyes, "I missed you too" she then hugged me again then pulled away holding my cheeks, "Are you ok!?" she asked panicked, "When Nymeria told us what happened I-" I cut her off, "Shush, it's ok, I feel perfectly fine I promise" she smiled widely again.
"Ok, as long as you're sure" I nodded again and she hugged me again I kissed her head and rubbed her back. Then we pulled apart and then I said, "Let's head downstairs, Miah might want to talk with me" She nodded and smiled. We stood from the bed and gripped the hands of each other and opened the door and walked over to the stairs.
"I can't help but worry North" she suddenly spoke in a sad tone, I turned and looked at her strangely, "Worry about what?" I asked confused, she sighed, "I'm worried about you, about this entire thing" she expressed, I frowned and stopped us and stared directly at her, "You don't need to worry about me Con, I'm fine-" she then cut me off by shaking her head.
"No, you say you're fine, but I still worry, with all that's happening with you, I-I'm scared something bad is going to happen" all I saw was sadness in her eyes. I hated it when she was sad, I placed a hand on her cheek, "I know you're scared, but I'm going to be just fine, nothing is going to happen to me" I said kissing her head.
"I promise I'm ok, please trust me" I said gripping her hand again, she looked very unsure of my answer but still nodded, "I do trust you, I just don't want you to get hurt" my heart warmed at her words and I nodded kissing her hand, "I know, and I don't want you to get hurt either, nothing bad is going to happen Conny" I said again and she nodded again.
"I know, thank you" she kissed my cheek, "I love you," she said squeezing my hand, I smiled, "I love you too" she blushed and we then walked down the stairs. We walked into the front room where I saw Miah, Klaus, Connor, and Nymeria talking, but the one thing that concerned me was the strange older man standing next to Nymeria.
But something about him felt strangely familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
"Don't blame me for this, North asked me to do this!" Nymeria said in an angry tone, "He's not in his right mind, he has an entire packs support, he doesn't need this!" Miah demanded, looking completely pissed. Klaus placed a hand on her shoulder, "I agree with Nymeria, it won't hurt to try Miah, the boy can't keep fighting this".
He expressed sadly, Miah sighed in defeat and nodded, "Alright fine, but it North changed his mind, then it stops" Nymeria nodded agreeing, "Of course, I want him safe just as much as you do" just as Miah was about to argue again, I cleared my throat to signal mine and Conny's presents.
"Yeah Hi-" I waved when I got their attention, "What happening here?" I quickly asked.
Miah then stepped forward and pointed to the man standing next to Nymeria
"North, this is Ashby, a friend of Nymeria's-" she paused
