To see is not enough
Our mind seeks to touch
To feel the thunder
And smell the wonder
That's embedded in our minds
Age worthless without time
Gone at the ping of a wind chime
Sleep is worth no dime
To explore the riches of the mind

Nymeria's P.O.V
I sat quietly next to Ashby as we continued to discuss the topic of North and his current well being. He's been asleep for about 26 hours now, it's good that he's getting the rest he needs, he looked so tired when I found him. I've remained mostly silent during this conversation, I've been focusing on something else.
Suddenly, I felt someone set to my other side, my eyes then drifted to the small redhead girl known as Constance, North's mate. I don't think I've ever really spoken to her before, but I do know a bit about her. She looked very tired which is understandable considering the state her mate has been in.
I could almost feel the sadness radiating off of her, poor thing. I was never the best at helping when strong emotions were involved but I can try, just this once. I hesitantly leaned over and wrapped my arm around her shoulder, she jumped slightly but then relaxed when she realized I was trying to comfort her.
I rubbed her shoulder and then spoke, "He will be alright, he's strong" I chose my words carefully, she nodded and smiled ever so slightly to show she was grateful. I then leaned back and retreated back to my thoughts.
Then something broke inside my head like a thread was suddenly cut, a weight was lifted off my chest, I let go of Constance and leaned forward breathing heavily, I haven't felt something like this since.....
My eyes went wide at the realization, I felt a hand on my back and I turned and saw Constance and Ashby leaning over me, asking me what's wrong. All the eyes in the room were now directed at me. I gasped and sat up with a wide smile, Finally!!
"Nymeria, what's going on?" I heard Miah ask me as I stood up from my seat, the vow was finally broken after all these years. I turned to her and smiled, "It's broken, it's finally broken!" I cheered and laughed, the burden on my shoulders is finally gone, after eighteen years it's finally gone.
"What's broken?" Drogo asked, not thinking straight I spoke, "The vow, it's broken, after all these years it's broken!" I don't think I've ever felt more alive. North figured out the truth and in turn, broke the vow I made. He's finally ready to face his destiny.
Just as I was about to be interrogated, I heard footsteps behind me, I halted my celebration and turned. There stood North, he looked better in the tired department but failed everywhere else. His eyes were red and wet, he had been crying, I can't say I blame him if he learned the truth, his past is dark.
He was shaking a little, but it was noticeable, I smiled at him but before anyone could say anything, a certain redhead threw herself towards him, her arms snaked around him so tight I was sure he could barely breathe. Constance began to bawl as she held him, North was holding on just as tight and repeatedly said 'I'm sorry' over and over again.
I felt bad for the young couple, so much to handle at such a young age, I pray that when this is over, they will be able to live in peace. Constance then leaned back and held his face in her hands, "What did they do to you?" She cried looking over his injuries, but all the poor boy did was shake his head and hold on tight to her.
But being me, I had to break it up. "You know now, that's good North" I spoke making all eyes dart to me once again. North looked at me in shock and confusion, "I trust Jack explained everything to you?" I asked generally curious. North let go of Constance and continued to stare at me.
"Y-You knew?" he asked more tears falling down his face, all I could offer was a simple nod, his face grew red with anger, "Why didn't you tell me!?" He screamed at me, everyone in the room but I flinched and backed away, Including his own mate. He glared harshly at me, waiting for an answer.
"He told you of a vow of silence, did he not?" we both knew what I was talking about, "Jack wasn't the only person forced to take it" I folded my arms over my chest. Shock then replaced anger and he stumbled back a bit, "That's why you told me..." his voice drifted at the end, "The story, yes" I confirmed.
"What else do you know Nymeria?" He asked in a small voice, completely different from the one he used before, his emotions are all over the place today, but I cannot say I blame him. "That depends on what you know North," I said back, I don't know what he's been told, I can do many things but reading minds is not one of them.
I then walked towards him, "You are confused, but I can help explain and make it all clear if you let me" I spoke gently to the damaged boy. He slowly nodded, "Do you want them to be here?" I asked gesturing around the room, he looked at all the worried faces and slowly shook his head.
Constance then walked up to him and hugged him, he hugged back and kissed her head and whispered he would be back with her soon. Slowly the room cleared out, I reached forward and took North's hand and guided him over to the couch and sat him down.
He looked so broken, I couldn't help but feel bad. I rubbed his shoulder and smiled at him, "It's ok to be sad, your story is not a happy one sadly" I spoke softly which he nodded at and rubbed his wet eyes.
I then grabbed his hand and squeezed, "Just know I will be here every step of the way North, so will the pack and your mate, you're not alone in this, remember that" I smiled once again and this time he returned it.
