Demetri's P.O.V

"AHHH!!" I screamed in anger and slammed my staff onto the floor, causing the wooden boards to crack and break from the loose magical energy that was released. He escaped, my way to rule this world, my key is gone. Not to mention over half my guards were brutally killed and my best warrior is injured.

But I cannot be too angry, the boy has proved his strength and capability just like I wanted him to, not only has he made his first kill but his first massacre. The blood lust will soon devour him and bring out his true self, the creation I spent years waiting for.

But of course, I cannot let him go unpunished, he will learn to obey his master, he can be sure of that. I must say that I am impressed with the way he went about it, tricking all the guards to come into his room only to attack them all at once, nothing short of a genius plan.

But him escaping before it was time throwing off almost everything, he wasn't ready to be released back to his 'family', but I guess I'll have to make do with this altercation. I can find a way to speed up the process somehow, a way to make the transition happen sooner then it needs to.

But how?

Wait.....

He's part wolf correct? that opens the perfect door, all werewolves have mates, even I had one once...

Nina...NO!!!!! Don't think about her!!!! and just like that, her beautiful image in my mind was gone forever.....

So if Xavier has a mate like most wolves his age, then she is the key, she is just the push I need to make the transition happen quicker! Perfect!

Now that I have my key, I say it's time to pay my monster a little visit.

============================

North's P.O.V

After my hands were 'clean' I took one more look at my appearance and frowned, was this the monster they talked about? Back at Demetri's, they said I was made to be this way, a beast that kills without mercy. Was I a monster?

I did kill all those people and nearly killed Ajax and my mother figure, the guilt resumed it's grip on me and squeezed even tighter now and I whimpered. I then looked down, too afraid of seeing myself like this. I backed slowly away from the glass and over to the shower and turned it on.

Warm water began to rain down and hit my pale hands, I didn't realize how cold I was till now, my arm relaxed at the feel and I sighed in comfort. I then tore off the bloody clothes and began to clean off the mess I made.

If I have the choice, I would have drowned right then and there, the water turned red before it was gone forever down the drain, soon that's all I saw. Dark stains covered the porcelain walls and I glared as they washed away slowly. Was this what I was reduced to? Dirt and blood? Maybe, but I refused to believe it.

My open cuts and wounds ached as the water and soap washed over them, but that's how I knew they were clean. I don't know how long I sat in that shower, too long I think, but I only moved to turn off the water that had become cold when the water that pooled under my feet had become clean.

I then looked around the white walls to make sure I left no marks behind, even during a mental breakdown and guilt trip I was still being considerate.

Nothing was left behind I think, so I opened the glass door and carefully stepped out onto the fluffy black carpet that felt nice under my dead feet. I glanced up and saw that my bloody clothes were gone and a plain white shirt, grey sweatpants, socks, and a black robe were in its place.

Guess I took even longer than I thought, I then picked up the new clothing and put them on, I sighed in comfort and relief at the softness. I then took a deep breath and looked towards the mirror, my reflection was no longer bloody and my skin was clean. I finally saw myself and not the monster that place made me.

I saw North, I smiled ever so slightly and took a deep breath letting it sink in that I was home and safe. I was cleaned up and no longer looked like the murderer I am, I frowned at the thought but refused to bother my head with these thoughts anymore, not tonight anyway.

The clock on the wall read 2:25 am, I don't even remember the time I got here in the first place, but all I wanted to be was to sleep, something I haven't done in what felt like years. I then walked towards the door and carefully opened it. Sitting in the chair next to the door was Nymeria, she was reading a book.

She looked up and smiled widely at me and stood up, placing her book down, "Better, much better" She laughed at the end and walked up to me and hugged me tightly, she then pulled away and held my shoulders, "There you are North" she spoke in a soft voice.

I nodded hesitantly at her showing I understood, she smiled and nodded back and stepped away, "You're probably exhausted" she began with a sigh and moved towards the bedroom door, "I can only assume you want to sleep" she laughed at the end and pointed to the bed.

I practically ran to it and sat down, when the memory foam dipped and I sighed and chuckled a bit, making Nymeria laugh a little and smile at me. I then moved the covers and laid back, as soon as my head hit the soft pillow I was out cold.

But I heard before I went to sleep was,

"You're a lot stronger than I thought kid, you're parents would be so proud of you"
